YaleP-PVC-RH-PC Security Door Handle, Standard Security, 92mm Centre, Adjustable Fixing Points, Built in Cylinder Guard, for PVCu Doors, Chrome Finish

My old door handle and letterbox were looking a little tired so I decided to replace them both in an effort to improve on appearance. I did a fair bit of looking around before choosing this handle from Yale, partly because it had already got plenty of positive reviews from other users. I also found an excellent installation video online which does and excellent job of demonstrating how easy the handles are to install (just search for 'How to fit a Yale PVCu replacement door handle') and so I felt comfortable in my choice. Fitting the handles didn't take long and the task did prove to be straightforward, with the result being a much improved look for my front door. I replaced the letterbox at the same time and chose this product which complements it perfectly Mila 110921 40 - 80mm ProStyle Letterbox - Chrome. Together they have transformed the look of my door and I am very pleased with their appearance and quality.

I hardly write reviews, however I wanted to write this one to give confidence to people wanting to buy it for safety reasons, i.e. existing handle is sh1te and can easily be snapped!So I installed this myself about 10months or so ago, still looks great and feels solid to date - I did it as a temporary measure until I changed my door but still wanted a sturdy one.I had an attempted burglary at my home last week where they tried to use pliers/ bolt snappers on the bottom of the handle to snap it to get to the barrel, they just managed to scratch the bottom of the handle as it wouldn’t give at all and left marks scratching the chrome. (I would’ve but been screwed if they did manage as I didn’t change the barrel to a secure one as this was a gap filler until I bought my new door!)Failing the attempt with the pliers/ bolt snappers, they tried to crow bar the handle off the door, again with it being so sturdy and solid it didn’t bend and just slightly came away from the door, thankfully by this point I woke up and managed to scare them away. Up until this point which was apparently 10minutes they were trying to break this handle - to my delight it held up and saved them from breaking into my house.If you’re after a secure handle, I would recommend this but I would also recommend changing the barrel lock for double safety measure!Something to bear in mind, I tightened the screws so much that when I went to change the handle the screws rounded so easily so I couldn’t unscrew it off the door, however I overcome this, just use decent screws if you can do you can unscrew at any point.Hope this helps.

Bought as a replacement for one I couldn't match the hole centres for and seems an excellent choice. The handle is all solid metal, (steel with the weight of it) not tubular alloy like my old one. The finish is first class with what looks and feels like quality thick shiny chrome which is harder wearing than electroplated brass on alloy so should look good for decades. My only slight concern was the mounting plate and screws used to adapt for different hole centres. I was wary that the plate may spread with their taper seating if over tightened, it didn't cause a problem but but I didn't go mad with it and seems fully secure. The parts that go against the door are a good 8mm thicker in total than my previous handle so the existing euro cylinder is now recessed inside the handle by a couple of mm but is still easy to get the key in and turn and I don't want to replace my nearly new matching cylinders so I can cope with it. Overall I'm very happy, good, solid well finished (really smooth with no sharp corners) handles that do the job hopefully for years to come.

Good sturdy product, however the slots to take the sliding lugs were very tight, so had file the slots to make very slightly wider. Fortunately had small enough file to do this. All fitted well from then on

Came across this handle after looking everywhere to find a handle to fit our door, but none had the same fixing screw positions. This fitted perfectly, and super easy to install in 15 minutes by following the online video instructions.

An adjustable handle that allows for a variety of fixing screw positions. Used this to replace old "white" handles on UPVC patio doors. Handle was relatively easy to fit after watching a YouTube video that helped to clarify what to do. New handle fits and works well. Only downside is that the handle is a bit taller than the original (presumably needed to allow for handle being adjustable) and this is especially noticeable because we have swapped from white to chrome finish.

Pretty universal chrome handle. Looks lovely to replace the white plastic one after painting our door grey😎
