Impressive
So far, so good.20 days in: I've had some time to listen to them, once they've been used for long enough, they become almost amazing. I'm actually pretty surprised. As of today, and listening to them for quite some time, the drivers have had time to play out for a while, they usually sound better after playing music in them for some time. I feel like the sound signature has improved, the drivers feel more natural and after trying different eartips, I think I have found the sweet spot neutral response that I like. Still punchy sub bass and mid bass, whilst it keeps the mids, upper mids & treble, relatively balanced. I am certainly hearing much more in my music.I am very impressed with these IEMs. Overall, the closer to neutral sound signature is by far my favourite. I also really love the eartips that they come with. My ears are usually irritated by memory foam, but I was going to try the foam ones for a brief period to see what happens. I have been using the memory foam on these IEMs for a day and I am really enjoying it at the moment with no irritation at all. Time will tell in the next few days what happens. I will just use the sillicone ones if they get irritated because they are still very very comfortable and the sound is still very good. So, Sillicone and Memory Foam eartips are just as good as each other. The noise isolation is perfect for my use case. I am literally just trying to isolate from the sound of my computer fans and these do a great job at isolating sounds such as this. I also went outside with these, and they are quite good at isolating wind sounds, but not so much vehicles going by, but I am not using these for commuting so doesn't bother me really. The sound signature is good for a wide range of music genres. I am generally using these for classical, jazz and other genres. These are by far my favorite sound signature, even with genres that are supposed to focus on bass, they are still great, fun and exciting. The bass is good, but not overpowering. I don't like overpowering bass, so these IEMs are perfect for me.The design is also amazing. They are nice and small, also fitting in my ears very well. I tried some bigger IEMs from other brands, I constantly found myself having to push them back into my ears an awful lot. I haven't had to do that once with these, they seem to fit very well. That makes me love them even more. The cable it comes with are nice for me. I run it down my back and under my shirt. The wire also has a memory plastic that goes over the ear, giving you the chance to position the over ear hook to your most comfortable position.Overall, very good product. I am very happy with the way it is designed, the sound of the product and how comfortable they are.

Buy some £15 eartips and they sound superb!
Astonishing sound quality thru whole range sub-bass to treble. I have had HD 800S for several years and these IEMs provide just as enjoyable a listen for me. Also compared with my Shure SE535s, which, although detailed, sound rather thin, the IE 200 are fuller and give the feeling of being more involved with the music. As with all IEMs, have found it's critical to swap the supplied buds for a decent fitting pair (eg Spinfits). Once that's done they sound incredible - easily on a par with sets costing four times as much.

Great for studio work
This review follows on from a pair of Sennheiser IE 100 I purchased and then sent back due to the high frequency they seemed to have with a 'not so good' bass response. As I use many different high end headphones for music production I wanted to try a budget 'in ear' type as my usual cans were becoming uncomfortable when working on large projects. These IE200 were so much better than the IE100 and in my opinion worth the extra money, mainly due to the clear bass and mid-range frequencies making the overall sound reproduction flat and so correct for music reproduction, also good for recording vocalists as there is next to no spill back from cans when they are singing ... Great stuff ...Don't get me wrong as the IE100 were really good cans but these were streets ahead for a little more cash. There have been comments on YT about the cable being flimsy but for me it also means it's very light ...all good plus I don't think its flimsy at all . You have to get used to putting them on your ears but these seem to fit better than the IE100s which felt as though they were going to fall out ... probably my fault, however no such problem with the IE200 which feel comfortable.I spent a very long time when choosing a set of IE cans and overall both items are of a high standard and with so many manufacturers to choose from it's a hard choice.I thoroughly recommend the Sennheiser IE 200 Wired Audiophile Stereo Earphones for their sound quality and ease of use when working with music production .. but they are blinding when listening to music on the mobile etc .. so a really great product.( As a footnote I did not go for the Bluetooth variety due to possible audio latency when recording live )
