I recently purchased a pair of beautiful & expensive Tecovas boots. The shafts were quite narrow, so much so that I could barely get the boots on my feet. That said, they were very comfortable, once on. Rather than exchange the boots I searched for "slippery" socks. These nylon stockings fixed everything. My boots slid on "LIKE BUTTA."
