Grunwerg Cafe Stal Double wall teapot, Mirror Finish, 1200ml / 1.2L

Defective seal at the bottom of the spout allowing tea to drip down the front onto my worktop. Spotted immediately and returned for a refund. I’ve ordered a replacement in the hope that it will be fault free as it’s a nice teapot and great for one person (my wife drinks different tea).Replacement item doesn’t leak, so changed the rating to 5 star. Very pleased with the end result. Brews well, pours well and keeps the tea left in the pot hot enough for a top up. Highly recommended.

Great style and comfy handle that stays cool. Pours well if you don’t tip it too far. The lid is a little loose but tea is kept warm and happy with teapot overall.

Leaking from around the spout- returned. Might just have been faulty - otherwise a nice teapot

Elegant design, well made and nice weight teapot, suitable for around 4 mug size pourings. The double walls (and lid) keep the tea warm for much longer than a regular teapot, but unlike some other reviewers, I've no intention of leaving my tea in the pot for hours to stew! Pours well, the handle stays cool and the spout does not drip at all which was my main requirement. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it.

The first one of these I received had to be returned, as water was somehow getting in to the cavity between the inner and outer casing of the teapot. A replacement was sent after the original one was returned. The quality of the item is good for the price, though the hinge on our lid is very loose, allowing it to swing from side to side.The new teapot works fine, but the outer casing gets very hot, which it shouldn't. This means that too much heat is being lost from the inside. This means that it does not stay hot for very long; tea will only stay at a drinkable temperature for about 10 minutes unless you put a tea cosy over it. But that kind of defeats the purpose of having a thermal tea pot!Another failing is that if you fill it more than half full, then tea streams out from under the lid once you try to pour. Again, kind of defeats the purpose of having a fairly large teapot if you can't fill it when you need to.I wouldn't buy another one.

The best teapot EVER!! Clean non-drip spout ✅ Double skin insulation keeps tea hot - no need for ugly tea cosy ✅ Handle stays cool ✅ . Style wise looks good too. Feels sturdy and well made. There is absolutely nothing not to love about this teapot. My long search for the perfect teapot is over. Off for a swift cuppa!

Itskay, but the hinge on the lid seems a bit flimsy, and loose. Pours quite well, but don't fill it to the top, as it spills out of the top. Keeps the tea fairly hot for about 45mins

Great little teapot holds 20 oz. keeps it warm for a few hoyrs. Prewarm inside of pot with hot water. Wide mouth makes adding hot water & cleaning easy. Handle never has gotten warm, careful of spout, it gets hot. Works great for teabags or loose tea (but i recommend a strainer or infuser for loose teas).Don't put on direct heat; teapot, not a tea kettle! Direct heat might damage welds of double walled insulation. I handwash but I'm not sure that's necessary, might be ok for dishwasher.Hinge is a little loose but not a problem, works fine, probably avoid problems with contraction/expansion with temperatures. Works beautifully.

Sehr hübsche Kanne, hält lange warm (über zwei Stunden). Die Verarbeitung ist nicht wie die eines hochpreisigen Produkts, aber ausreichend. Die Kanne ist bereits täglich im Einsatz, sie ist ein absolutes Lieblingsteil geworden.
