I have tried many support products and this one works he best.
Excellent support for my wife's head and body. Soft and comfortable. Her arm rests adjust up on down so I can set the position of the lateral support to accommodate whatever she is doing. I can raise it to support her head while she is eating or lower it so she can rest he head on it while she naps.

This has been helpful for our LO with dementia lean.
We have a LO in Memory care with mixed dementias. He leans heavily to one side in his wheelchair and was not comfortable. Honestly, I am sure he is still not really comfortable hunched over, but they are not ready to move him to a partial recline because he still has some mobility by scooting himself and he really wants to do this himself as much as he can. I decided to research, and this seemed like it might be helpful. Guess what? He loves it and even side for one for the side he doesn't lean to and we figured what the heck you never know if it wears out and maybe they won't have them anymore, so we got another one for the non-leaning side. It only helps prop him a little bit, but he is not resting on the medal anymore so it's a win for us.

It works, but bulky
This is tough to review because it totally serves the purpose of padding my momโs arm, but it does seem pretty bulky.

MUCH better than other brands
Durable, easy to clean, holds its form reliably. I bought a more popular medical supply brand and this was superior. Fully enclosed was the selling point, such that I returned the other product and bought a second one of these Skil-Care EZ supports. My mom's neurovascular doctor thinks this product is brilliant. :)

Prevents bruises, adds comfort
I used an arm support cushion in the hospital and missed it when I got home. Found this online and it works very well to provide support to a paralyzed arm. Fits on and transfers easily to a wheelchair, transport chair, or regular furniture with narrow arms where it's hard to balance an arm that is missing strength or motor control. Prevents unnecessary discomfort and bruising. Also has straps if the arm needs extra immobilization. Love this thing!

Doesnโt stay in place so it doesnโt help
Totally disappointed. The lateral arm rests are not snuggly attaching so as soon as my husband puts his arms on them with any weight bearing, they stretch and slide out of place. I am also disappointed that the window of return is narrow when considering itโs a health care product an you need some time to figure out if it will be a match. So after trying different ways to make the product work it just would not but it was past the 4 weeks return window and I am stuck with these two unusable supports. I attached a picture to show how the cushions slip and slide ...I have too much to do without continuously adjusting these supports so my husband stays comfortable. I donโt recommend

This is a very nice arm rest but if you have a short arm ...
This is a very nice arm rest but if you have a short arm rest on your wheelchair, it is too soft to hold a persons hand horizontal. The product is well made but it just didn't work the way we needed it to. We had to return it.

Excellent.
Fits perfectly! Straps definitely help keep arm in place.

Ulnar nerve compression
My wife was getting compression of the ulnar nerves which run on the outside of the arms from the shoulders to the hands. I suspect that it was from leaning on her arms on the typically hard armrests of her chair. I bought two of these cushions for her and I added a 2-inch wide of 1-inch thick, soft foam under the covers to fill in the depressions in the original foam meant to help hold the arms in place. Luckily her chair is wide enough to provide 2-inches on each side of her hips to allow the cushions to come down to rest on her Roho seat cushion. At the back the Skil-Care cushions are tucked between her U-Fit backrest and the armrests so are held in place and do not move. They support her arms well and eliminate pressure points. She no longer complains of numbness in her arms. As well, the sides of the cushions plus her backrest help keep her back straight and reduce the weight on her arms when she leans.

Not worth the money
Doesn't really fit universally. Partmof the vision inevitably rubs on the wheel.

Paid too much
I purchased this item for over $100 and it came with an Amazon receipt for $45.99 ? Not too happy about that and on top of that it's not exactly what I needed.
