Good quality - does what it needs to
Great stuff, and flows well.I usually decant a little into a smaller container and use a tooth-pick or similar to apply for SMT devices.just make sure to clean thoroughly with Isopropynol (I always do that regardless of if I'm using clean or no-clean flux).

Excellent when used in an appropriate way
I took a punt on this when getting a different GE flux - I don't normally use a liquid flux by prefer a gel. However, needing some solder paste for a quick job and only having a year-old opened tub which had turned mostly solid, I tried rejuvenating it with this flux. By jove, it works! As I recall, the paste was originally a bit dodgy (hence why it hasn't been used) and suffered smearing when heated. After treating with this flux it was really nice to apply, and flowed properly in the oven.Fluxed with success, instead of the nail varnish brush I was going to use I tried a syringe to apply the flux to SMD pads. Using the smallest-but-one (blue) tip, it worked very well. A tiny amount could be easily placed on a pad without it spreading everywhere, and there was no dripping or leaking like you get after squirting out gel. I think this is going to be my preferred flux and application method for most things, now.A plus point is that it has a rather nice sweet smell (it may be bad for you, but if you're going to sniff it you might as well enjoy it).One thing to watch is if you knock over the jar and spill it all over your bench, it takes forever and a LOT of IPA to clear up. It is very seriously sticky and could easily double as contact adhesive.

Great as a flux but caused me bad headaches
This is great flux. Really good stuff but as others have said it comes with a sweet smell. I noticed after using it I had a ridiculous headache which lasted for hours. Put it down to a bug but have since noticed every time I use it I get the same headache. Upshot being make sure you extract the fumes better than I do as I’m obviously sensitive and rosin can be toxic.

An excellent flux
After using Topnik 800 for years I recently decided to try an RA flux, influenced heavily by Mr Carlson. There's a huge difference, this stuff works much better. More fumes, so extraction is important, and it leaves a bit of a mess on the board, unlike the Topnik, so cleanup with IPA is required, but worth the extra effort.

Good rosin flux. Does exactly what it says on the tin
Great product. Recently had occasion to use it with a desoldering station to replace a surface mount IC. The solder came off instantly and cleanly.

Good Quality Flux, Poor Quality Bottle
This is very good flux, which I would expect when compared to cheaper alternatives. It actually smells quite nice when heated, almost like sherry. However, it is tricky to remove with isopropyl alcohol so it is advisable not to be too liberal with it. The bottle has no applicator and the child-proof cap is clunky and more difficult to remove than (for example) a medicine bottle which seems to be due to its unnecessarily cheap construction.

Good for wire on wire.
The flux is great for wire on wire but don’t use on a switch as if it gets inside it becomes so sticky when it Dry’s that it stops the switch from working. Don’t get it on your fingers as it’s so sticky I had to use isopropyl alcohol to clean them.

This works, but we found it pretty messy.
Used for soldering electronics. I found it pretty sticky and messy, though.
