CLARITY PHARMACY MYCOTA POWDER
First, the service from this company is immaculate. I ordered Mycota Powder - exactly why I will go into shortly - on the morning of the 13th December 2013, at the height of the Christmas postal rush. Using standard delivery, the dispatch estimate was 16-17 Dec, and arrival estimate 19-23 Dec. The beautifully-wrapped package of two packs of Mycota Powder arrived THE NEXT DAY, on Sat 14 Dec. Hugely impressed. SERVICE: If I hear one more whinge, whine or moan about 'local shopkeepers' dying out because of the internet, all I have to say is, if the local shops actually stocked stuff that we wanted and were good value, they might stay in business. I had spent most of the previous day looking for Mycota Powder. I wanted it particularly as it is a very good product which I trust - of which more later. Anyway, all I could find were expensive sprays (not Mycota) which are a rip-off because they do not last long, which is why small shopkeepers - and the bigger ones - stock them, so they can rip off the customer. So after a frustrating day searching for this product on the shelves of my local shops (and I live in West London, so it is not exactly primitive here) I went to the pub for quite a few, where I worked out that I could order from the internet. I duly did so the next day, for a very acceptable price, considering how long the powder lasts, even taking postage into account. Simple. Quick. No hassle. MYCOTA POWDER: So. Now we come to it. Why Mycota Powder I hear you asking? Well, I walk a lot, and am rather active, and I use the stuff as a footpowder, and indeed body and - uh - crevice powder, as well as prophylaxis for athletes foot - which I had once, many years ago, and never want again. It is supremely effective. A very long time ago, at the beginning of an Armed Forces career, I also acquired a particularly unpleasant 'Jock Itch'. Scratching incessantly and bleeding into my silken shorts. Mycota cured this in two days flat. Its gentle medicinal perfume is, to me, a promise of a good day out, in comfortable, powdered socks and underscuttlings. So that is why this product, and this supply company, gets five stars from me. And all my shopping in future will be on the internet.

Expensive but works
This treatment powder isn't the cheapest but is effective and starts to relive the itching from my athletes foot very quickly. I like the fact that it can be easily sprinkled inside socks to work it's magic. I've tried allsorts over the years and this is the best. The only thing some people may not like is the smell of the powder, it is distinctive but doesn't last and no-one notices it if you put it in your socks and shoes.

Helps prevent nasty foot syndrome, but the scent of the powder is very off putting.
I bought this powder as a preventative measure. I wanted something that smelt nice and kept my feet dry. I found that it had a cool tingling effect after applying, like when using something containing menthol. It did help to keep my feet dry and fresh, however i personally feel the scent is quite unpleasant, almost repulsive. This alone has put me off using it again. The smell is hard to define, but it smells more "medicated" than pleasant. Like a dissolved paracetamol. I did purchase an alternative product which is almost 5 times the price but smells so much better. (lemongrass and tea-tree.) Whilst I was hopeful with this product as it was so cheap, the smell has just put me off. I can't comment on its effectiveness as a medication for treating Athletes foot because I haven't got it, but then again maybe that is a testament in itself. I probably won't buy again anytime soon unless they sort that scent out. Even a "fresh" scent would be fine.

WOW
Going to be really honest here this powder for me is brilliant. Since canestan powder disappeared I’ve been trying every powder that I could get to fill the cap, yes I’ve used canestan cream and it’s worked I just like the feeling the powder leaves. Well I’ve found my wee miracle this powder is even better than canestan, it came very quickly next day so got a shower and tried it out. I got it for under boobies as I’m sure larger ladies understand within hours the redness (which was really red) had nearly disappeared. I felt so dry and fresh the rest of the day that I felt so clean was fantastic. Now this has worked wonders for me it might not work for you but I say is give it a go you might be greatly surprised like me.

Great Item, does the best job
this is a great item, it does what it says on the tin. I have been using this item since i was in single figures. I find it is fast and efficient and have never had an issue with it. I use it to dust my running shoes after a run and it helps to eliminate some if not all of the smells associated with running shoes :) it is also good if you get sweat rash in other areas caused by rubbing. (This can be bolstered by the use of the cream or spray as well) I also find the smell pleasant and actually like it, it doesn't smell like some of the other foot powders do. I recommend this product above and beyond all other foot powders available.

This stuff works!
After trying lamicil once and having a really bad reaction (major itching and worse athletes foot than before) i finally after 8 months managed to calm down the constant itching and waking in nights. I used the anti bac hand gel that every mum probably has in her handbag. Used it morning, after work and before bed for a week and the itching had gone. Because i had it so badly, i want to make sure i never get it again so i bought this to sprinkle in my shoes (in case there were any bugs lurking still). Touch wood, this has kept those itchy athletes away. I cover my feet in the morning and put a little in my shoes and i am so pleased its not returned. Makes your feet nice and soft too :)

My Go To
Foot infections aren't fun, and nobody likes talking about them, but they happen. The market is full of creams these days, which feel counter-intuitive to me because they keep the infection "wet", which isn't what you want when you have this type of infection. Given that this is a "dry" product, I feel much more confident using it daily. Because none of my local pharmacies/chemists stock this product, I wasn't surprised that it was a little pricey online, but I'm glad it was available either way. It doesn't always clear up infections quickly, but I'd recommend using it as part of a varied routine when infection hits. Also, given what it is, this product smells quite nice.

Great product crazy price hike.
Used this stuff before, stinks but does the job. When I bought it the price was £4.49 now it's £39.99 that's just insane. My value rating of 5 stars is based on what I paid not today's price.
