Batteries with baby safe feature
Bought these as I needed some replacements (obviously that’s the reason why anybody buys batteries!). It was to go in my car key fob which was running low. When inserted the fob initially didn’t work so I had to take out the battery and inspect it. There is a sticker on the bottom of the battery which says “don’t remove” and which is basically a baby safe feature (the sticker must contain something horrible tasting so if a child tries to put it in their mouth, they would (ideally) spit it back out again without swallowing). As there are no small children in our house to worry about, I did peel off the sticker and when I inserted it back into the fob it worked. I have since used the second battery successfully without removing the sticker so not sure why it didn’t work first time round.
