Audrey Hepburn in Paris Hardcover – February 13, 2024

first off, I love the cover...I adore this photo. So, I thought it would be a pretty book to own just from that alone. I love collecting beautiful Audrey Hepburn books. I also knew the author would have some great knowledge to share about her, and I love Paris, so two loves in one. What I didn't expect was just how good the writing would be...and the format. It is so enjoyable to read. Full of warmth, yet all the interesting facts (a lot I have never heard about) still put in so nicely. It just truly is so Interesting! I actually haven't finished reading it but wanted to leave a review to encourage others to purchase this.Aesthetically, the book is made nicely, and the paper is of decent quality with nice pictures throughout (some that are rare and never been published before). This book is not a massive flashy Coffee table book...but much more. There is a lot of content and is comfortable to read and hold. A must for every Audrey fan.

The author clearly loves this subject and has chosen a very distinct perspective. Who hasn’t seen the uniquely lovely, magnetic, intelligent, compassionate, and authentic Audrey Hepburn in a movie for the first time and said aloud: “Who is that?!” The detailed research is amazing and brings to even a non-fashionista (like me) the anticipation of what will the latest collaboration between Audrey Hepburn and close friend Hubert de Givenchy gift to the world. I did not know some of the aspects of her personal life and how she held it together in spite of heartache. I’ve always been a fan of the openness, sincerity, range, and nuance of her acting but now the dimensions that Meghan Friedlander brings to light have made me an even bigger fan of the person herself. This book has an abundance of quality color and black and white photographs, which along with a wonderfully descriptive text, succeed in seamlessly weaving together the multitude of threads of Audrey Hepburn’s life in Paris. Just browsing the photos of her is a real mood lifter, but the excellent text is what gives them their broader meaning.

For all admirers of the lovely, elegant, talented, compassionate human being. So glad I found it to share with my 20 year old granddaughter.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a book or magazine to give my mother in law who has dementia and is living in asst living. I wanted a book of glamour and fashion - who better than Hepburn? I think she'll love reminiscing the times and looking at the many photos. Only con... is the book was packed in a box too small and I had to cut it out so I didn't ruin it by pulling. Not a deal breaker.So GLAD i came across it while browsing. Not to mention the great price

This is a very nice book with interesting info and some fun photos of Audrey in Paris but I bought it to be a living room table book buts it’s much too small for that. It does make a great gift for someone who’s a fan of hers.

A most delightful new book on Audrey! From the never-before scene photos to the informative chapters giving us details on the Paris places the she enjoyed or worked on, this slim, beautiful book is fun from cover to cover. Wholly worthwhile addition to my Audrey library!

A beautiful book about Audrey with so many gorgeous photos. I recently found out after my Mom passed away, that she was a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn and now I am as well!

This book is wonderful because it provides you with an accurate account of Audrey Hepburn's trajectory as an actress and a fashion icon. I personally love everything about Audrey Hepburn's life and want to read everything about her life.
