Life changer!
I was a skeptic & now I'm a believer! The taste is interesting but not off-putting. I love the ease of use with Miswak, I just bite off a bit of the skin at a time, bite down and brush away. Trim the bristles every other use or when they start to fray. The cases for them is a great investment and well worth it- keeps it clean and hydrated. The bristles are soft and remove every bit of plaque, food, etc with ease. My gums have healed and look very healthy as well, my orthodontist is impressed and has bought some for her entire office.Bonus is that they're natural and compostable!

Not natural... Have mold
We are surprised that it has mold. If this is natural, it should not have mold on it.

Great product for a great price, all-natural with its earthy taste and soothing natural bristles.

Smells
The smell was extremely too naturally and I never even use it. It may be a great product but I couldn't get passed the smell

Not for me but seems fresh
Caveat: I have not tried any other version of Miswak, so I am not comparing this product to others like it, just rating my first experience with this type of product. The packet came with 6 individually packaged Miswak sticks, each with a plastic holding tube that has a clip on the cap, perhaps for keeping in a pocket, like a pen cap. Upon opening a package, the stick seemed very fresh, still moist. The first one I opened the day I received it even had a bit of condensation on it. When I opened another about a week later, it was still damp but not as much as the first one.The instructions were easy enough to follow, resulting in a stick with a brush-like end. Chewing on this and brushing it around my teeth seemed to do a bit of cleaning, but not nearly as thorough as a standard toothbrush would (with or without toothpaste). Personally, I found the taste and smell to be slightly off-putting. Though once the outer bark was removed, the inside had less of a strong smell. The flavor is not one I'm accustomed to equating with a fresh mouth (like mint would be). This was a very interesting experience. I would not trade it out for a standard toothbrush and toothpaste, but for someone specifically looking for this product, it seemed decent to me.
