Perfect for me! Settle in within a few hours and stay in tune. Sound great too - WARM, not too bright :)
A great set of strings! They settled in very quickly (a few hours!!) and make a very good sound - warm, not bright. And they work well with my brand new violin (made this year). I'm currently rehearsing daily in my orchestra and playing a range of different music (Brahms, Britten, MacMillan). These strings work well for the whole lot. I find them to be responsive enough, but not too much. Oh yes, and they stay in tune! The best thing about them might be the short time it takes them to settle in and that the stay in tune for a long time.

Extremely good value.
I have used these strings for years. They are without doubt the best in their price range. These I bought for my daughter who lives in Cyprus, where temperatures can be extreme, and these are the strings that stay in tune regardless of the ambient temperatures.

Good, clear sounding strings that hold their tuning very well in all conditions. I play regularly outdoors across SW of England in often damp conditions, and Zyex have been more consistant than Dominant and Evah Pirazzi. Highly recommended!

Excellent Strings
I have avoided D'Addario strings for most of my playing career (over 30 years). Their strings have been stiff and metallic sounding with bad projection. However these strings are different. I like these far better than Dominant strings and other sets including Pirastro. The strings speak quickly and clearly. They have darkened the sound of my bright violin and are easy to play. I am able to get beautifully unique tonal changes even with my backup bow. Definitely worth the purchase just to try them once. FYI - They hold their peak performance longer than pirastro as well.

Top notch for electric violin!
I ordered these strings for my Yamaha electric violin, and very happy with them. Don't know how they would sound on an acoustic, but on my SV-255 they are crisp, clean and responsive.

The sound produced is warmer and sweeter sounding with ZYEX strings, compared to my previous strings which were of steel core.
