Can I leave the machine on all night?

Hi Thanks for your question. You can choose to leave the ice maker on all day, but the unit won't stop working until the ice is full or the water reservoir is empty. If you don't use the ice maker during night, you can turn it off. Hope this helps.

I have a water softner with at filtration drinking water system, what is the best water to use for this machine?

We use Brita filtered water only so I think you'll be good to go with your filtered water.
