Digital Travel Alarm Clock, Battery Operated Bedroom Clock

Good quality. Easy to use. Great size for travel. Was perfect for our cabin on a cruise. There are minimal clocks on the ship. So, this was very helpful. Time was easy to read.

I bought two of these clocks for two rooms. I really like them because they have large, easy to read numbers. Room temperature, Date, & Humidity are displayed. Easy to set time & date. Easy to choose F or C. Very reasonable price, and quick delivery by Amazon.

This is the perfect alarm clock. I bought it because I play chicken with death on my phone and set 3 alarms, snooze through them all, and wake up 5 mins before work. But lo! That is solved with this ONE alarm clock. It gives me ONE tone, ONE volume switch, and ONE alarm. It keeps me disciplined in a way that my phone never could because, even with its 9 minute snooze button, my options are drastically limited. Do I want an alarm with 20 different tones and the ability to set it so low I can’t hear it? No. With this alarm I get two options: do I want it to go off on the weekend, and do I want it loud or less loud? That’s it. Perfection. I like that it will reliably wake me up (wake me up inside) and that it can be carried in your pocket as a pet. It has all the relevant info on one screen: time, alarm, temperature, date, and day of the week. It’s a cute yellow like the morning sun and has a delightful little time table on the inside of the lid (which can be flipped back as a stand). It also has satisfying little clunk when you shut it. But yeah, beside that, there’s nothing else to it. It cost me all of 12 dollars. The cost-benefit is ridiculous and my brothers in arms, it ended the needless assault on my attention. It’s given me the much needed rigidity and discipline I’ve been craving. It’s a testament to less is more and I’ve never been happier. Praise simplicity.

The alarm will wake the dead, nice to have it loud.

This is a digital travel clock, however, it uses two penlight batteries, and has a large display, so it isn't as tiny as some. On the other hand, and one reason that I got it is that the penlight batteries are easy to handle, available everywhere, and last quite a long time. The batteries last me about a year. Tiny clocks with tiny batteries aren't always the best for travel. The clock has a flip cover, which doubles as a stand; large easily read digits for the time; and smaller digits for the date; and the temperature. The time digits are large and easily read, however the remaining information is within a smaller space. It has a very good backlight that is ONLY on when the button is pushed, the normal mode is NO backlight. The alarm will wake most people. If you travel across time zones, having the date can be very useful. I also found the temperature display is surprisingly useful. Setting the clock uses the current convention of multiple function buttons that use long, or short pushes to perform a function. The instructions are clear, and I suggest that you keep them in your travel items if you need to refer to it. I have had this for a few years, and had to get a new one when I gave mine to a host who now uses it. This clock performs as it claims, and has been trouble free. I can recommend it with no reservations as long as it suits your needs. I have been given no compensation for this, and hope it is of use to you.

Update: 11/24/24 I have now used this travel alarm a couple of times and would like to add that the clock display is somewhat difficult to read in a dark room (sleeping) for two reasons. There are two light settings and even the "dim" display setting is somewhat too bright for a very dark room. If the clock is placed on a nightstand, almost level with your sleeping position, the clock sits or stands at such an angle that make the numerals' contrast somewhat difficult to read too. The numerals are much lighter in contrast unless you adjust the clock standing angle to a 90 degree angle in relation to your position in bed. I still like the clock, but the display brightness needs reducing one more degree and the display numerals need to have better contrast to read when the clock is standing on a nightstand without having to manually adjust the clock's standing position angle! I purchased the MeesMeek Digital Travel Alarm Clock and, so far, I like it! The clock is about the size of a woman's compact (maybe slightly larger) but it can be easily stowed in any suitcase or overnight bag! You won't have a problem finding a spot for it in either travel accessory. The time display numbers are 1" tall and there is a switch on the side with two settings for brightness, "Hi" and "Dim". Either provide enough light to see the backlighted numerals on the screen. It easily unfolds and sits upright without wobble on any flat surface. The alarm times, day/date, and temp. numbers are all 1/4" tall and easily seen. The temp is in C or F degrees and has been accurate in comparison to my other thermometers. Other than the brightness switch on the right side, all the other control buttons are upfront, below the screen. None of the buttons are lighted so they could be difficult to find in darkness. The combination light (stays on for 5 seconds with push)/snooze button (snooze button resets alarm for 9 minutes later) is on the right end of the line of buttons, red, and has a small ridge on it to distinguish it from the rest of the buttons, if you have to locate it in the dark. The clock come with two AA batteries (which are very easy to install) and a small booklet of clear instructions. The clock has a protective folding cover that protects the screen when closed and forms the base/stand when open. Inside the cover is printed the world GMT time table and the email address for MeesMeek customer support! It has a low battery indicator on the digital screen. Mine is all black with the exception of the red light/snooze button. I am pleased with the time keeping precision so far after having it for about a week. The instructions say the travel clock has a 60 day money-back for any reason and 18 month warranty for quality related issues. At this time, I am pleased with my decision to purchase this travel clock for a little less than $14.

I have a battery powered alarm clock I like, but I wanted to find something smaller and more portable and with covered buttons so they didn't get pushed in my bag. I'm giving this 3 stars because this IS a decent alarm clock, middle of the road. But I returned it because of 3 issues I had with it: - The alarm beeps twice when you set an alarm. So if you're turning the alarm on before going to sleep, it'll beep after you pick the time you need. So if anyone else is in the room and you don't want to disturb them, you need to leave the room to set the alarm. Maybe not an issue for people who will set it once and have it go off the same time every day. - My existing alarm clock starts with a slower beep and then increases in speed every 5-10 seconds or so. I didn't realize how much I loved this until I tried this new alarm clock and felt like the beeping was SO aggressive and jarring. Great if that's what you're looking for! But not a good fit for me. - I usually snooze my alarm a few times, and on this alarm clock, you have to hit the far right button to snooze the alarm, and pushing any other button will turn the alarm off for the day. I feel like I personally am likely to hit the wrong button while I'm half awake and accidentally turn the alarm off instead of snoozing it, which will defeat the purpose and make me oversleep. Again, may not be a problem for other people, but it made this alarm clock a bad fit for me. I wanted to love this, and it's a cute color and very nice small size. But after testing it out, I realized the things I noted above are important to me. I hope this review helps other people make an informed purchase!

This clock was better than I expected. Big display, sensible controls, decent alarm, thin profile, sturdy construction, fully protected buttons and screen with lid closed. Time display can be turned to 24 hour time; temperature can be shown in Fahrenheit or Celsius. Also, it runs on easily purchased AAA batteries: much better and longer lasting than button cells. The yellow color option I chose also makes it easy to spot on a desktop or in luggage. This is a great travel clock!

Value of money

A great little alarm clock. Easy to set up and I like the light up feature for when I need to check the time at night and appreciate it isn’t too bright. The clock is easy to read and it’s a perfect size. I like the temperature and date feature. It’s easy to use and affordable. I purchased the white one and like how it looks.
