Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid Bowling Ball

Have yours drilled for down-lane hook, stand on the 40 board, walk toward the 12 board, let it roll off the tips of your fingers and watch it drive through the pins for strike after strike. I never saw such a ball. It’s amazing. Takes a bit to get used to and it hooks so much that at first, you won’t be able to keep it on your side of the head pin. Move left, 5 boards at a time and walk toward your mark, otherwise the reach will be too much. Best price anywhere on the Internet. A followup—after a few months of sailing this ball down the lanes, it soaks up oil pretty quickly so you need to have your bowling center cook that out for you every 200 games. You also need to resurface it with 1,500 grit Siaair and Crown compound. Was surprised how much this restored the ball to brand new.

First new ball in 25 plus years. I bowled on a men's commercial league in the mid 90's. My average then was 148....I haven't bowled for about 15 years now. I have had this ball since its release...my average is now 185. This ball in incredible! I picked the 15 pound because I'm now 52 years old...let's face it, my back isn't what it used to be. This thing hooks like crazy, but is also controllable enough to come up the back and get a pretty straight roll out of it also. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS BALL! My first ball up until I bought the Black Widow hybrid was a Brunswick Mica Reactive Zone...it was great but this Widow blows it out of the water!

I read ball reviews on Amazon that were written by people that don't bowl all of the time...so here's a ball review written by someone who bowls. This thing hooks. I am speed dominant, moderate revs ~350 rpm and I've always thrown stronger, earlier equipment because of that. As a result, I experience alot of roll out and leave a ton of buckets. I buy this ball, and have my PSO drill it with a pretty standard strong layout, and the first ball I throw on a fresh house shot sees friction and crosses the headline. OK. I can finally play the middle of the lane? I stand left, throw right, and this ball comes back from anywhere. I mean, I'm talkin standing between 6 and 7 and throwing out to one board. 2nd game out of the box I shoot 80 pins over average. 3rd game , same thing. This ball is the cleanest through the heads I have ever seen. No wasted energy. The aggression cover with the HK-22 additive is something the mad scientists over at Brunswick/Hammer should be proud of. If you are looking for an aggressive ball that will probably end up being your new benchmark, you owe it to yourself to try out the Widow Hybrid 2.0. Oh, yeah delivery was fast and stuff. Cool.
