Fantastic
Fantastic Product, it does exactly what it says it will do. My hair was dyed Black & this product lifted the dye out straight back to my natural Hair colour. Smells quite strong but I really couldn't complain because it works. I 100% recommend this product

Terrible
This product is terrible. I have long thick hair so purchased two packets, which I would normally do with hair dye. I have dyed my hair black with the same make of hair dye for the last 5 years and decided I needed a change, as it is not practical to dye over black dye I decided to buy this hair dye remover, I sectioned my hair into 4 and then I applied it all over my hair from root to tip until all sections were completely covered. I left the product on for the time recommended then rinsed for 10 minutes, applied the buffer left on for a minute, rinsed for a further 5 minutes before applying the remainder of the buffer before rinsing for the final time only to notice that my hair was still dyed black. So total waste of money and the smell of eggs from this product permeated my house and hair for the rest of the day. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t purchase again would of returned if it was a product that was returnable.

Works on dyed black hair
I have used colour removers before, I hadn't tried this brand before I was a bit sceptical, some of the reviewers rate this highly & others said it didn't work on simple colours & I have been dying my hair black for a few years now. I mixed the two bottles together, applied to my hair, put a shower cap on waited 30minutes then rinsed for 5minutes, used the buffer shampoo waiting 2 minutes then rinsed another 5minutes, I then added a bit of conditioner & rinsed again. Totally shocked me my hair wasn't dried out! EVERY colour remover I used in the past really dried my poor hair out, I was not looking forward to this but it honestly didn't happened with this product. I didnt really notice much scent while using the product but when my hair dried I did get a whiff of the off egg smell so the next day I used my first protein conditioner & the smell went. So the big surprise is this removed my black dye & left me with a medium brown. I honestly don't even mind the colour, it has taken all the colour out of my 'whites' (ok greys!) but I can live with this for a week, I have bleach ready to lift the colour a little before trying my next new colour. I am overall impressed with this & will gladly use again when I get fed up of my future colour :) I have asked 4 hairdressers & they all told me to wait 7 - 10 days before using bleach or I run the risk of my hair breaking off so I am lucky that I don't mind the colour this lifted my hair to. Every other day I am using a protein conditioner my hair doesn't feel or look like it needs it I just want it in superb condition for when I use the bleach this weekend. The rinsing felt boring but I did it while in the shower & had hubby do the stopwatch for me so wasn't too bad just a little boring, worth it for the overall result this has done.

Please read full review for details but key point is, it works!!! What a relief!
So, I've decided to give a detailed review for this product in case anyone finds it helpful. If this is too long, my title sums it up.Firstly, this product comes in 3 bottles: 1. Activator 2. Remover 3. Finishing BufferAccording to the instructions, this product is suitable if you've used a darker permanent colourant and not suitable if you've bleached or lightened your hair, which makes sense. The instructions are that you mix bottles 1&2 and leave that to develop for 30 mins, taking special care to avoid any of it getting into your eyes. Then you run warm water over it for 5 mins, apply half of bottle 3, rinse for 5 mins, and reminder of bottle 3 for another 5 mins. Easy enough. What I've noticed:The combined 1&2 does have a strong chemical smell, and getting near the 15-20 mins mark (you have to leave it on for 30 mins) I started to get a stinking sensation on near my ears and the back of my neck. But not burning sensation. So I did that full 30 mins. When rinsing that off, I noticed the texture of my hair is different, so I'm worried it'll have dried out my hair. It didn't, I'll say more on that later. Also didn't notice any colourant in the water, or at least for the first minute or so. I closed my eyes for the rest of the time to avoid anything getting in it. I was looking out for that because another product I used a few years ago, B4, did literally washed the colour out. Again, I'll say more on that later.Bottle 3 smelled a bit better, you'll notice instantly, but that's the smell that will linger in your bathroom/shower long after. Also, none of the bottles are transparent, so when it says to use half first, I used about a third, only realising that when I poured out the rest for the final 5 mins to realise how much was still in it.So, going back to the worry about dried out hair. When I towel dried my hair after the whole thing, firstly, huge relief when I looked in the mirror! My hair is back, my hair colour and texture, still soft so I guess it didn't dry it out in the process. It worked and that's key, so 4 stars! And will be buying this again if I need to.Finally, a note before I wrap up this review. I used B4 a number of years ago. As mentioned above, when I rinsed using that, I could see the colour coming off in the water. But it was a long time ago, so don't know if B4 will still do that. And also not sure if it's got anything that do with the colourant to begin with. When I was deciding which colour remover to get, I did consider B4 again, because why risk it if you know something works for you? But didn't realise how many different types B4 have now, so it's a bit confusing. It's also more expensive and not available on prime (when I was shopping for it). So decided to go for this one after reading the reviews, and in turn, I hope this review can help some of you make that decision for yourself. This is only based on my experience this time. I know how frustrating it is to have a dye job go wrong. Hope this review helps!

didn’t work :(
I’ve used this colour remover before and it worked well but for some reason it barely worked this time?? Also didn’t come with gloves so had to use some that I already had. I say don’t buy this from Amazon and just try find hair dye remover in store. This lowkey also made my hair fall out nut terribly but much worse than other times I’ve used colour remover
