CAMEO Ciobar Dark Hot Chocolate Cioccolata Fondente

Love thick and rich European hot chocolate like you get in Paris and this is just as good. I put a pinch of cayenne and/or a dollop of whipped cream as a treat. Easy to make (though the instructions are in Italian): I use about 1/2 - 2/3 cups of milk in a small sauce pan, pour chocolate packet and stir well until all lumps and powder are gone, pls be mindful of the corners of the pan. Place pan on medium low heat until it thickens. I sometimes add about teaspoon of sugar (or 2 packets of Splenda if diabetic) for extra sweetness, if you desire. It can be very thick if you let it just sit after warming, add small amounts of milk to thin out as needed. Excellent product!

This hot chocolate is delicious! I love the taste and the fact that it’s thick! You don’t get that in the US.

I wanted to try this after I saw an Italian recommendation. I used whole milk, made it on the stovetop and it came out thick and rich. It is almost like a pudding texture. It is delicious, not too sweet. It is a little pricy but worth it!

It seems that Caio Bar is no longer making hot chocolate packets and is making pudding now? The product packaging was different than what is shown

I had this hot chocolate in Italy and have loved it since that first sip! The best hot chocolate I have gad in my 77 years on this earth!
