Gibraltar SC-LRAC L-Rod Adjust Clamp 9.5Mm

I bought this to mount a large cowbell I bought from Amazon last fall in early October. The cowbell is mounted onto my hi-hat stand, and located in between my main and auxiliary (effect) snare drums. This is a rock-solid mount, and does the job beautifully! It allows percussion devices to be mounted at any angle, and it will KEEP them there until adjusted or moved elsewhere! And since the Gibraltar SC-LRAC is equipped with a removable 9.5mm L-rod, the rod itself can be swapped out for larger sizes if needed for mounting toms fitted with an L-rod bracket. From what I've read via other reviews here, this mount is actually stronger and more suitable for mounting rack toms (up to 14 inches in diameter) fitted with L-rod brackets than Gibraltar's other L-rod mounts - due to the sturdy design. Now, my set has all the toms I'll ever need, due to it being a vintage '90s-era Pearl Export series (mostly, toms/bass) and that finding toms in sizes I need in this same color (raspberry red) is now impossible! But for those of you needing an L-rod tom/percussion mount, look no further than the SC-LRAC by Gibraltar Hardware! This concludes my review for this rock-solid piece of drum hardware. I bought two of these clamps to mount a cowbell and a tambourine to my rack system. The flexibility this clamp has in terms of angle adjustment comes in handy when you have a kit with lots of little extras and you need to get things 'just right.' When setting it up I came to appreciate the versatility it offers. After a few gigs, the clamp has proven to be reliable, solid and doesn't need readjusting. Not much else to say, it does what it is designed to do, and it does it well.

Exactly what I needed and couldn’t get any better. Build quality is what you’d expect from Gibraltar.

Great mount. Nothing negative to say about it. Works perfectly attached to a Roto Tom stand. Solid build. Very versatile. L-rod stays in place and holds a cowbell and/ or jam block just fine. The only thing I would request as an improvement would be a slightly longer L-rod.

I use this as a floor tom mount for my pearl roadshow kit. It's a smaller kit and the included legs didnt get the tom up high enough for me. I installed the clamp on my ride stand and mounted the tom to it. Worked perfectly for me.

Super solid bracket, it now hold my floor tom on the electric kit. Great.

Pas de doute, c'est bien du Gibraltar! Une fois mis dans la position désirée, un petit serrage des trois papillons et vous pouvez taper dessus comme un malade, ça ne bougera plus jamais.

This clamp is very strong indeed. I mounted a small 10" tom onto a cymbal stand with it. The clamp holds the tom on the stand very snugly. No issues at all. Highly recommend.
