Great upgrade to any 4G device with TS9 connectors (see details). Highly Recommended
I got the Slinkdsco 9dBi External TS9 antennas to use with a Netgear LM1300 4G modem. As it happens, the LM1300's internal antennas were awful, but it did have TS9 connectors. I contemplated running coax to the roof to a mast antenna, but decided to try the Slinkdsco antennas first. So, the product page mentions that these antennas are omnidirectional, but I don't think that's true. I tweaked placement and azimuth, until I got the best average results from the LM1300's signal strength readout in the web interface.Performance before the antennas? 1.25-ish mbit/s down, and 150kbit/s upPerformance WITH the antennas? 25mbit/s down, and 2mbit/s upAre there better antennas? Certainly, yes, but these are $35, and work well indoors. The one thing I would say is that it's not a bad idea to secure the antenna bases with some Velcro - the antenna assemblies are very light, and move with even the slightest force on the cords. Considering that the antennas are directional, that's not ideal. Highly Recommended

Not Worth The Price
First picture is of the hotspot without antenna. Last picture is of the hotspot with the antenna. NO change at all. If I could leave 0 stars I would.Okay. I've been rocking a mobile hotspot in my home for years. We live out in the country and do not get any high speed internet this way. Cell service in our home is at best 3 bars. Checked the attic and I get 5 bars near the peak of the roof. Seen this antenna for 34 dollars on Amazon and thought. Maybe it'll help with the service if I could run it into the attic and mount it where my phone had got 5 bars.Well.After opening the package I noticed quickly the the cables attached to the antenna will not reach where I want them too. In fact they barley reach into the attic. I was able to put them right above the ceiling. Not an optimal place for an antenna. They do not help at all with cell service. I was getting 2 to 3 Bars before installing antenna and am getting 2 to 3 bars after installing antenna. Nothing has changedMaybe if the antennas had longer cables they would reach to an area with better cell coverage. This product is a joke and it's not worth the 34 dollar price tag. I wouldn't pay 10 dollars for itIf your need an antenna I would look elsewhere. You're better off moving your hotspot to another location than wasting your money on this product.

No good for me
They did not improve reception. It was actually the opposite. As soon as I rebooted the hotspot withthe antennas connected, it could not find the tower. Tried this numerous times with rebooting in between.

Doesn't work on Netgear Nighthawk 5g
Not on bit of difference was made on my NETGEAR Nighthawk M6 5G WiFi 6 Mobile Hotspot Router (MR6110). I rebooted device and tried different locations. No changes in the RSRP or the RSRQ. Nor in the ability to move to a different room without less signal issues.
