Quality not quite as expected. There are wear/abrasion marks on the corners where stock of this item was stacked on top of each other (and despite being in thick polythene bag). The manufacture process isn't flawless as part of the corners seem to have imperfections almost as if plastic was bent during cooling. I have contacted the manufacturer both through amazon and direct through their website; I didn't get a reply from either. Overpriced commensurately with quality of item, those that care for our equipment there is little more available. Not as thick or high quality as a cover i bought for a different item 10 years ago. I'm disappointed and feel ripped off.

Nice fit, Solid and not disappointed with it but it should have come with the Akai in the first place to be honest. One star off due to overpricing.

Great gear protection

Cette coque Decksaver est exactement ce qu’il fallait pour mon contrôleur APC40. Elle s’adapte parfaitement, protège efficacement contre la poussière, les éclaboussures et les petits chocs. Le plastique est épais, transparent et de très bonne qualité, ce qui rassure pour le transport et le stockage. En plus, elle est légère et ne gêne pas du tout quand je range mon matériel dans sont sac. C’est un petit investissement qui prolonge clairement la durée de vie du contrôleur. En résumé : solide, pratique et indispensable pour protéger son APC40. Je recommande à tous les DJ et producteurs qui tiennent à leur matériel. J’ai également la gamme decksaver pour mes platines, c’est top !

Wanted a good dust cover and something that would allow me to gain a little more usable surface on my desk when not using the APC40 MKII, so wanted a hard cover. Honestly, never really found anything that was quite up to par with this brand when I saw it on friends other devices (Decksaver makes all sort of specificly designed covers). The item itself seems pricey for a piece of plastic, but don't be fooled, it's made of polycarbonate, so super resistant to impact. The item is perfectly molded, so much so that it essentially clips on, staying securely in place. The edges are smooth, so nothing sharp on the ends from the molding and machinining. Decksavers, overall, are great dust covers and protection for your equipement. They are definitely more expensive than others, but you get the quality with the price tag.

I use Decksavers with almost all of my gear. I cannot praise it enough. - PRO: Perfect fitment and protection! - CON: A bit pricey (but still worth it)
