With a 3 1/2 slot GPU, there simply wasn’t enough space for a second GPU in the lower pcie slot -even with trying a flexible a riser cable. So I came across this option for using a spare NVMe slot. I had my doubts this would work, but I got it installed without any issue. Too, whereas my spare Pcie slot on my B650 AMD board supports up to 16x 4.0 x2 (through the chipset), my unused NVMe slot (where I installed this) is 4.0 x4- so no issue with any slow PCIe lanes for the second GPU install. Windows 11 discovered the additional GPU without issue and it’s been working great. I’ve got the second GPU sitting behind the case, so it doesn’t look bad at all since you can’t see it anyway. One thing though- I had a spare psu on hand already- this requires a 24-pin psu connector and external power. But no worries with overloading the main psu already in the case, since the second gpu is powered by the stand-alone psu. (BTW, I’m using the second gpu for the dual-gpu Lossless scaling option. Highly recommended).

The media could not be loaded. This took a bit to get to me in the mail. However when I received it , it worked just fine for my project. I used this for an Acemagician mini pc (specs are amd ryzen 7 5400u with 64gb ram and 2tb internal nvme 2.0 ssd + 8tb external drive. It’s using an asus radeon rx 6600 graphics card with a redragon 850w psu, also a small 3.5” cpu/gpu/temp screen from Amazon only 35$, works great as well. So far no complaints with excess heat or any issues, have played about 8 hours of demanding games at ultra, very high, high, and medium settings with no issues. If you are working on a project like this, this one works great, also has the metal cage portion if you wanted to make a case or mounting system. Will update after some more time.

I bought this to add a GPU to my NUC. The setup and installation were simple and straightforward. It worked on the first attempt.
