A beautiful and tasteful way to honor your loved one’s burial at sea.
Purchased to release my brother’s ashes at sea. Beautiful design and well made. It was bigger than expected. Performed perfectly well. Highly recommend. We boated out into the ocean to release at his favorite fishing spot. While it was tricky reaching the water surface from aboard, once placed into the water, it gently bobbed among the slight waves. It floated long enough for the Israel Kamakawiwo’ole song version of ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ to play to end, then it slowly slipped under the surface and down into the depths. It was perfect, though emotional. Plan ahead. You do need to glue (included) the top onto the bottom, once ash filled, and place included clips on for sealing pressure while glue dries; overnight is best. A biodegradable bag is included for ashes too.

Beautiful Urn
We bought this biodegradable urn for a water burial goodbye. The urn is great quality and very pretty. The material is similar to a strong mache. We sealed the edges with the glue provided. The urn is fairly large, about 15" in diameter and held a full size adult ashes. We placed the urn in the water which had a few gentle waves. We added some flowers from our yard and sprinkled the pedals on top of the urn. The urn floated about 5 minutes and then gently sank as expected. We were very happy with the urn and it's quality.

Just what we needed to put Dad out to sea
Knowing that we wanted to send my Dad's ashes off in to the Atlantic in Newport, RI, we wanted to make sure that his ashes would actually make it down in to the water (not float on top or get stuck to a passing boat). A little looking and I found this! It was exactly what we needed. We were able to transport Dad's ashes in to the water-soluble, included bag and tie it up, placing it inside the outer case and using the included glue to seal the edges; leaving it to dry overnight with the included clips placed all around the edge to help truly seal it together. The shell design was beautiful and we had a nice moment where we all stood in a circle and passed it around so each could hold Dad one last time and say something if they wanted to, before the 3 siblings held it and threw it into the water. It floated on the surface for several minutes before it began to break apart and sink, but it was getting hammered pretty hard against some nearby rocks due to the waves. I was really impressed how long it stayed intact with how much it got moved around. If you're looking to do a water spreading of your loved one's ashes, I highly recommend this product as their final vessel.

Beautiful and affordable biodegradable urn
This was a beautiful way to send off my mother’s ashes into the ocean. The only thing that I wasn’t prepared for was the urn sinking quickly, then popping back up after about 30 seconds. We all got a little laugh, saying my mom wasn’t ready to leave.

So Beautiful! Buy it!!!
This was an amazing urn. We bought it for my mom who died of COVID. She loved the beach. When my sister and I were kids, all the shells we would collect, she would keep. So much so that when we cleaned her home after she had passed away, she still had the shells from when my sister and I were young. This was a great tribute to her and her love of seashells. This was beautifully made and crafted! Ours was filled with 6lb of ashes and lasted in the water 2 mins or so. The water was choppy. I do recommend this urn to anyone who is looking to give their loved ones an amazing send off! So thankful I found this! Beautiful!!!

Beautiful
A beautiful container for a memorial at sea. Ours floated for at least a couple of minutes if not longer. I do wish the assembly instructions had been more detailed as I found the process of putting it all together and gluing it shut properly to be stressful especially given the emotional nature of the process. Try to spread the cremains in their biodegradable bag evenly around the bottom bowl of the container. I worried at first that they wouldn't all fit but they easily did. Definitely heed the instructions to use all the glue and clips to fasten the lid. Set it up on a box on a table as you work so you can see all of the edges well, and try to have a helper if possible. I used 4-5 clothespins in addition to the clips provided as it seemed there might be gaps otherwise. My guess was that gaps would lead to leakage and quicker sinking. Also be aware that the edges become fragile as they get moist with glue so try to work relatively quickly as you wipe off excess glue. I allowed two days for it to dry but one full day probably would've been enough. Because of the type of boat and the conditions we had to sort of drop ours from a foot or so above into the bay but it landed flat and upright and floated away beautifully. We had a lightweight biodegradable floral wreath placed around it that also floated and made for nice effect.

Perfect product perfect experience
We bought a different brand first, and it was absolutely huge and required. Glue of some sort to make sure didn’t fall apart. This one was more like a box for clothing, lightweight, and with tape that sealed everything. It came with a certification of being biodegradable Which the private sailing tour appreciated. Floated for about 45 seconds, before sinking rather quickly. Overall, it was a really classy and ideal experience. Will attach a photo for reference. I wouldn’t say it’s the sturdiest of options, but it’s not like you wouldn’t be careful with a box of a loved one’s ashes anyway.
