Germinates in timescale predicted if.....
I am a retired Groundsman of 45 years experience.I had a large area to seed back to grass as our hens had wrecked the ground.I levelled by rake the whole area but make sure you firm any soft areas liable to sink.A handful of seed evenly spread over a metre sq.Walk backwards if you can slowly in lines.lightly rake the seeded area to get seed into surface.Birds will eat some of the seed but I covered mine with windbreak material which stops that and also helps it germinate a day or two quicker but you don't have to do that.It is quite shady in that area but it has all germinated.Having said all this I don't know how hardwearing it will be,or whether it tolerates close mowing etc.A complaint I have is that I pressed the buy again section for a further area and the mix(variety)of seed was different when it arrived.The seller needs to keep an eye on that as the mix could look different when mature.Also it will only germinate if temperature is high enough.If no rain forecast water with fine spray.The hens will not be going back on this area!!

Nice and easy,
This is the best patch of grass, as dug over the top layer and added some NON PEAT compost. Just make sure it's been dug on the top, and an inch, and it came up within a week. And water every evening. And it's come up beautifully. Going to get some more to use on my grass already there. As it in no way looks as bad as what my grass is. Easy to use. Looks totally gorgeous. 100% great for easy to grow.

The Mohawk of Yorkshire
Bought this seed just before the cold weather kicked in to reseed sections of our front lawn. The previous owners had some raised beds in the middle of the lawn so I have removed them to replace with grass.I seeded the areas using this seed and a push along spreader.My error was not ordering enough…. And now my lawn has a cracking Mohawk. The seed took really well and has grown amazingly. Will be getting more to seed the rest in spring.

Nope. Didn't grow. Tried it twice 6 months apart. Nothing.

Very good
I started a little late in the year with this but it has still managed to take. I've bought a lot of this seed and will buy more to over seed the garden
