This book is very helpful for explaining and making the curvy log cabin blocks into different patterns than the usual ones with or without the template. I found it good value for money and I will be looking at other books from this author

Nice quilts with a difference. Easy to follow instructions. The fabric requirements are clear and there is always enough to complete each quilt. Can be used with or without the curvy log cabin tool.

Wonderful book, full of inspiration. I just wish there was an option to purchase the Curved log Cabin trimming tool required. I don't know why it isn't sold as a package (like the Dear Jane quilt is sold with the two templates needed). I have requested that Amazon stock it.

Super!!!! Ho acquistato questo libro perché adoro la tecnica log cabin. Questo libro spiega in maniera chiara e semplice come realizzare delle creazioni con delle striscioline di tessuto che sapientemente dimensionate permettono di realizzare delle figure curve! La realizzazione è semplificata se si utilizza la stecca apposita ma io utilizzo senza problemi una stecca normale con misure in inch anziché centimetri in modo da seguire fedelmente il libro senza dover fare calcoli e proporzioni. Da almeno 12 anni sono appassionata di tecniche patchwork, ho accumulato molte riviste, progetti e libri ma questo, per quanto mi risulta é Il più ben fatto. Lo consiglio per chi vuole realizzare imparaticci, plaid, lenzuola, ecc. con la tecnica log cabin.

There are lots of patterns in this book. I happened to buy a new log cabin ruler, which will help me in making the blocks, but is not really necessary to make the quilts in this book. There’s lots of different ideas on how to put the quilt together, which makes it very versatile. I highly recommend this book to people who are just starting to make log cabin quilts, and for more advanced quilters who want ' some different ideas.
