This light is very bright and reasonably light weight with a comfortable pistol grip. The instruction/user manual is exceptionally poor and I only discovered how to charge the thing by trial and error (hint - the back cover unscrews). The biggest issue I have is that you have to cycle through the light modes to switch the thing off - so that means having to have blinking light while you press again to get to off. Is this a deal breaker? If I were to use it a lot, no, but it can’t take much to add a ‘emergency flash’ button or similar - for the price this is a major let down that doesn’t differentiate it from other cheaper generic Chinese lights. Update: After just a few months of occasional use the center of the LED has burned out, result is a big circular dark patch in the beam. I never had it on high power for more than a few minutes - not acceptable for a $70 light, very disappointed because it was a very good light until that point. Update 2: i sent Durapower customer services an email with photos of the burned LED - they responded the same day and by day 2 a replacement was on its way. Since Durapower not only make a good product they quickly and efficiently made it good when the product went bad. I have reinstated my rating and added a star for their excellent customer service.

Love this spotlight. Got it for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift to use when he takes the dog out & checks the chicken coop at night. He's uses it daily & absolutely loves it. Charges fast, maintains charge & is the brightest freaking light I've ever seen.

Save your money! First unit lasted a few months and the LED developed a black burnt spot blocking the center of light beam. DURAPOWER sales page claims this was an issue with first batch of lights. They did send a replacement unit which only lasted a few months and has developed the same issue. This time DURAPOWER will not address this obvious manufacturer defect and this leads me to declare this light is JUNK!

Spotlight seems durable. It has 3 light settings, a red lens cover for roadside emergencies etc., and also comes with multiple charging accessories in a zip-up case that has room for other small personal belongings. I like this product.

It’s strong and seems to shine for a while. I got this because my dog vanishes into thin air at night. Not anymore!! Really lights things up. Comfortable grip and easy to use. Seems to be built tough after having it for 3 months. It is expensive but it’s a good light.

DURAPOWER has offered me a full refund and obviously stands behind their product. I purchased this spotlight for sailing at night. I would plug it in to charge any time we went out on the boat. I didn't have to use it for many months after purchase. Then, when I needed it, I realized that it wasn't charged. I tried plugging it in to charge and even after 24 hours it didn't take a charge. I don't know if it ever took a charge since I've had it. However, after having this spotlight for 9 months, it is completely useless.
