Not sure if it's made in China? I got this a while ago, so I don't have and packing information. Perhaps you should ask the company who is selling it? All I know is I would buy it again it's a great bag!

No, mine came with one type strap.

The tree huggers of the world have confiscated the word LEATHER. You cannot believe anything anymore. From the description “ Bag is made from high quality 100% eco friendly vegan PU leather”.

How wide is the strap?

Don’t know the exact measurement but it’s quite wide, maybe a bit around 2” or so. I changed mine with a strap from another purse as it was a bit big.
