Drumond Park Articulate Family Board Game, The Fast Talking Description Game, Family Games For Adults And Kids Suitable From 12+ Years

Great family board game. My 8 year old daughter loves it. When purchased I wasn't certain whether to buy the more expensive normal version. Glad I brought the kids version, as it's suitable for my daughter, who was able to describe most of the subjects, but a few she struggled with, which is a good point from a learning perspective. My wife and I like this game, its even fun for just adults in my opinion. At £12.99, I think it's good value for money compared to other board games. My only criticism is the size of the box, it's quite big considering the contents, they could package it in a smaller size. That's a minor point. So still 5 stars from me. It was delivered in perfect condition, and it was delivered and forfilled by Amazon.

It's Christmas day. You have had a lovely family lunch. Grandad has drunk far too many Sherries. Your nephew and niece are running around the house on a sugar-rush, and your uncle is about to tell the same jokes he tells at every family get-together. Save the afternoon by whipping out Articulate and have a really good laugh with your folks. Apart from just being a good family game, what makes Articulate so much fun, are the various holiday-themed expansion packs that Drumond Park bring out for the base game. It is a holiday life-saver. The only downside is the price. £33 is a crazy price tag for a board game, even one as good as Articulate. Wait for Amazon to Black Friday, or Prime Day the game, and get it for £16-£20.

This is sold as being for ages 6-12. Most 6 year olds would struggle with many of the things they are required to describe. I'd say that it's more approximately for 8+.Other than that it's a good game and we've devised a way it can be played by 3 players. It is better with 4 or more players but we don't always have 4 people available to play so had to be creative.

Its not as easy to set up & play as articulate in my opinion, however its kind of a more advance version. We had fun but it never lived up to the others.

We loved this game at Christmas. Bought for friends birthday who was turning 9, we played it with him and family and everyone enjoyed it. Great value for money.

This is a lot of fun. We all played this game at Christmas and it cracked us all up.

We have the Articulate game, which is a great game, and it is a winner with all the family. I thought I would try out the phrases one for Christmas, and it didn't disappoint. All the family enjoyed it and it was played plentyful. It was reasonably priced and great value for money.

Really good game, we adapted the rules a bit as the nice seemed to always land on the same colour so no variety of question themes. Wish there were more cards as we played it quite a few times with different people
