Great collar replacement. The old one was left outside and made a piercing scream sound when plugged in to charge. This one connected effortlessly and works well for when my dog tries to sneak off and run around the neighborhood. Holds battery over a week. It may hold longer, but I tend to charge weekly just in case.

This training collar was exactly what we needed for our Husky, Bella. It is very easy to learn and is very reliable to the indicated distance, although we never leave her of out of sight, something that is quite tough to do with her. The collar has several programmable ranges for tone, vibration and shock. To be fair, we do not use the shock feature although we did at the beginning to train her on distance limits or when she was chasing squirrels and rabbits. She only did this for the first two years and has learned not to chase them. We also used it to train her when other dogs approach to help remind her to remain calm (only use tone or vibrate). Eventually, she learned how to approach and go past other dogs without getting agitated. When using the transmitter, please be sure to turn it off while in your pocket to avoid clicking the device by mistake, something I did 2 times by accident and was not a pleasant experience for her or for us. The collar and transmitter should be charged weekly to assure they are always available for use, although the battery will likely last for 10 days or longer.

This collar has been one of the best investments we’ve made for training our Cane Corso. We don’t even use the shock feature —my heart couldn’t stand to hurt her- just the beep and light options have made a huge difference. Our girl responds immediately to the beep now, so we rarely need to use any correction at all. It’s helped reinforce commands like “stay” and “come” without stress or confusion. The light feature is a bonus we didn’t expect to love so much — it’s perfect for letting her out at night or early in the morning when visibility is low. She can roam and we can see her - we live on 14 acres in the woods. She doesn’t even need to wear the collar all the time anymore, but we still like having it for added peace of mind. Highly recommend for large breeds and anyone looking for a safe, effective training tool!

I bought this collar to help with my dog's training, and I'm really happy with how well it's worked. The remote is simple to use, and the range is excellent, so I can still communicate with my dog even when he's farther away. We mostly use the beep and vibration modes, and they've been enough to get his attention and reinforce commands. The collar seems comfortable for my dog, and I like that it's waterproof since he loves being outdoors. The battery lasts a long time, and the flashlight on the remote has actually come in handy during our evening walks. Overall, it's a well-made training collar that has made training much easier. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
