We absolutely loves this rug. We are trying hard to keep it, but my husband is afraid after a year...there will be nothing left of it, it's shedding so much. Every time we vacuum it, there is so much shedding, it clogs the cleaner or when we empty the cleaner, it's jammed full of rug shedding. We are going to have to return it for something else. I really hate it, because we love the color and the feel of it. It's perfect for our home décor.

Some ppl said their rug wasn’t 100% wool but mine was exactly as described and the inside tag said 100% wool. With that’s aid, it feels like wool under your feet. It’s not soft and there is no shiny threads in it, but that is what wool is. So, it is safe for my hardwood floors. I would love to have some other rugs out there that are softer but they have synthetic material in it.
