That this is an excellent piece of equipment very clear lenses that stowaway extremely neatly I suggest any prospective purchaser watch the appropriate videos by Carson but highly recommend this product for price and quality …….

Nearly perfect hand lens
Excellent product. Robust, effective, efficient and ergonomic. The different lenses which can be used singularly or on combination giving a wide range of magnifications. Could be made even better if it had an attachment point for a lanyard.

Nice and sturdy, very good quality
Lenses are not 'perfectly clear', as you can spot tiny scuff marks here and there, but it does not affect view quality - as far as I can tell.. Other than that, materials and build quality are high quality, doesn't feel cheap at all. Love the design, it's super handy

Decent in the centre, but strong edge distortion / colour fringing
I bought the Carson TV-15 to inspect camera sensors and small details. Build quality is fine and the folding case design is convenient, but optically it’s a mixed bag. The centre is usable, however the image falls apart towards the edges. I’m seeing noticeable distortion and colour fringing that looks like chromatic aberration — blue/green halos around contrasty edges. The “TriView” idea sounds good on paper, but in practice only one configuration is really usable. The more you increase magnification (and stack/extend the sections as suggested), the worse the edge performance gets. If you only care about the very centre it can do the job, but for critical inspection I expected cleaner optics.

This is a handy magnifier to have, and can fit in a pocket. Not quite as powerful as my Bergeon 12x loupe but near enough.

Minuscule mais fait le job
J'apprécie beaucoup la taille réduite de cette loupe. Par contre je trouve dommage qu'il ne soit pas clairement indiqué sur chaque lentille son niveau de grossissement. Je l'utilise pour enlever ses échardes sous la peau ou autres petites blessures à soigner et j'en suis plutôt satisfaite.
