911 Fitted Luggage Bags (2005-2011)

I bought a pair of these 18 months ago for a 10,000 mile, 8 week roadtrip. We were very happy with them. The only reason that they only get 4 stars is that they do not have wheels. However this did not prove a big problem because most of the hotels and motels we stopped at had luggage carts and elevators. The smaller ones that did not, typically were just one story and we were able to park right in front of our room. The other problem was that they only open at the top and are fairly deep, so finding something at the bottom could be a challenge. We solved this by organizing all of out stuff in packing cubes which made finding what you needed was easy. They fit my 997 perfectly and even left a little room at the top for loose items like jackets that we may want to put on and take off during the day.

It is very heavy and difficult to pack with clothes as it doesn’t stand up at all... even as heavy and bulky as it is!
