These cases are absolutely fabulous, looking a lot more expensive than what they are.

Ordered this based on the pictures and reviews. But when I received them instantly you could tell the quality is quite low par. What's more is that one it's first maiden journey, the wheels on the large couldn't stand the weight and broke. When I then received it after my international journey, one of the corners was broken and dented because of the low and thin plastic quality. And on the journety back, the whole wheel came off! One return journey and I am having to throw it away. Not recommended and will never be buying Lugg again!

Bought this set for my trip and between it going from airport to hotel the wheel just came right off. The case was half empty as well since we were planning on doing a lot of shopping during the trip, had maybe 10kg in the case.

I made a short trip from the UK to the Netherlands. By the time I picked it of the luggage band the wheel was broken off.Am very displeased as you would expect thw quality of suitcases to be made for flying.

Suitcases are really great,solid and easy to move around,and a lot bigger than i expected even though it does give you the measurements,nice colour.Above was a review i made on first inspection, but we only used these case once on a recent holiday and as you can see from the pic,not as sturdy as we thought,a costly investment.

The handle on the large suitcase snapped off the first time we used it. The one on the medium case broke the second time. I wouldn’t recommend these.

I bought these 15 months ago and have only used them 3 times and this is the result the medium one is so badly dented that I can’t even push it out and the lining has all ripped,the handle on the large case has come off all together so absolutely no use whatsoever, I would not recommend this brand at all and will never buy it again

Update two months after purchase: After two trips consisting of eight short-ish flights altogether all the wheels are in poor condition and on one of the medium cases, one even snapped clean off in baggage handling, leaving a big hole in the outer shell, luckily the lining prevented anything from falling out. It does seem that the medium cases are the weakest in the set as the other one from the other identical set I bought also has issues. Overall not happy with these and I definitely would not recommend them for checked luggage, just not robust enough to stand up to the whole baggage handling process. If you're going to just use them on trains or if going by car then they would be ok though not the best value for the price. The small cases are ok for cabin luggage.Original review: An excellent set for the price, usually buy IT luggage brand which is a fair bit more expensive unless you come across an excellent special offer on them. I needed suitcases for the kids at short notice and nowhere had the IT luggage cases available to be delivered on time so I went for these instead. These are a bit heavier than other similar 'lightweight' suitcases I have tried, the largest one weighs around 4kg fully empty, which doesn't seem much if you're flying to a European airport with a max weight of 20kg for checked luggage, means a big chunk of that is taken up already. The wheels are also a bit thin and flimsy and could be improved, the coloured covers of them fall off easily too which doesn't affect their functionality but doesn't look great. I chose the navy option which in the photos is a bright teal blue, in real life they are somewhere in-between teal and navy, they are really distinctive cases which made baggage reclaim a breeze. They did get a bit scuffed and bashed about on the journey involving four flights in total, but unlike other ABS cases I have had, there were no big dents or chunks taken out of the outer shell of the case. The handles and zips are very strong and the zipable top compartment in all of the suitcases is something I have not seen in a long time and it is really useful.
