Well, I messed up. I thought banaba was banana in another language. It wasn’t. It is a different plant. I looked up its uses — several, but the main one is diabetes regulation, and I am an insulin dependent diabetic. I’m going to chew one of the leaves when nobody is around to see if it helps. Taste of leaves is not vile. Talk to your doctor first.

These are whole leaves. 2 leaves can make a 66oz tea. Drinking the tea throughout the day helps you eat smaller portions. After drinking this tea, after 3 bites of food, I’m full. Of course everyone is different, but this product is worth a try and worth the money.
