Easily modified.
Only needed 1, they don't actually accept the modern 3.5mm jack, the female 3.5mm jack socket is wider. They do however come apart very easily to facilitate modifications.

loose fitting until you really push.
I originally didn't think that these jack adapters worked - they seemed so loose fitting, but you have to push quite firmly to het them to click into place and when you do they work as expected. I nearly threw them into the bin, but thankfully persisted.

Fit my Harmony hub
Works perfect with my Harmony remote hub. I used 3rd party emitters (3 on the same line) and I was able to control multiple devices through the one output.

NEVER EVER ... have to re-run your microphone wires when you change Car Stereo Brands !! Buy this 2.5mm ( Most HandsFree Mics) to 3.5mm. AND Buy the 3.5mm (Most HandsFree Mics) to 2.5mm. Then you are set for Life !! Run the microphone cable ONCE !!! Good quality and works wonderfully !!
