Love this glue! Very versatile for all crafts

Great glue for crafting. It sets really well easy to apply but watch out for the strings!

I bought this along with Aleenes tacky glue to help with the construction of book nooks. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. The tacky glue is OK but really only works for wood to wood interfaces - it is a PVA adhesive and this is their area of strength. It gives the appearance of working but once dry, items which are non-absorbent easily pull apart. The Beacon glue is very strong and works really well when gluing for example plastic parts to painted surfaces and particularly if there is a part of the project that needs to be reinforced - once the Beacon glue has set it is very strong indeed. However it does string very badly and that makes it quite difficult to use - you dont want to assemble some intricate pieces and fine strands of glue all over the place, particularly on clear plastic windows for example. So in use you have to develop a means to glue an item with one hand whilst pulling away the string with the other.... and remain vigilant in case a strand has escaped your notice. I use a tiny LED light for close inspection. For my money, the Beacon wins in most situations of model assembly, just dont use it on a part which you might need to ease or dismantle - you are unlikely to be successful once it has set!

Great glue. Tacky so can move pieces into position easily and sets quickly. Clear finish so great for book nooks.

This is perfect craft glue, especially as it allows movement for a few seconds before 'grabbing', so if you need to reposition anything slightly, or even remove it completely, it can be done. The glue dries clear, and holds thick card very well. I will be constructing a book nook next week, which is the main reason for buying it, and I'm confident that it will do the job.

What a fantastic item! I had time to do my daughters costume( and we all know they don't give us much time!!!) , all thanks to this! it stuck fabric fast and dry together quickly! what would of taken me several hours to sew, took literally minutes! Fast, effective and safe, easy to wash off skin too. Defiantly my new best friend. I will be purchasing more of this, in case other fabric projects are needed! I have used other fabric glues , so I was skeptic on how this would be, but I can honestly say, ITS BEEN THE BEST! If you have longer to wait, I'm sure there would be better deals, but its very saving on the amount needed, also it cleans and runs freely . all in all 5 * stars from me! I would highly recommend this product, and in fact I did, and took the spare glue to school, for extra costumes that are needed.

This is a great glue for heavier papercraft projects. But the odour is strong and ventilation should be used.
