Beacon Adhesives 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue 118.56 ml, Dries Crystal Clear (Pack of 2)

I use it to make barbie things, clothes, furniture everything. This glue is the one you have been looking for. I used to stick upholstery fabric to foam board, foam board to foam board to make 1/6scale sofa, all sorts of fabrics together including lace without show through. Amazing for velcro I glue sew in rather than the already adhesive sort as its better. Used to stick elastic together to make bands which are strong enough to stretch. Bonds within seconds however still repositionable if you need to for about 15 minutes, but once it's dry it's stuck. Absolutely recommend for miniatures. Has quite a strong solvent smell so I'd say definitely not for kids, but once dry it's fine. I love it, don't think I'll ever be without a bottle in house

As a card maker I'm always trying to find adhesives for sticking layers, I've tried so many glues and given up with them for reasons such as wrinkling and marking the card, leaving unsightly residue etc. I'd ended up using double sided tape, but with that you get no room for error and I can't count the amount of times I've had to restart a card because I had no wriggle option, it's very time consuming too. I saw this Beacon adhesive and thought I would give it a go. I love it, it's so easy to use. It comes out of the nozzle easily, grabs the layers quickly and without effort, but gives just the right amount of wriggle time. It doesn't wrinkle or mark the card and if you have a little residue, just let it dry for a minute and use an adhesive pick up eraser to remove the residue. It's great on coloured card and doesn't leave any glue marks, even on black card. I got some on glitter card and I managed to remove that with an eraser and it didn't mark the card. It's made my cardmaking so much easier, can't rate it high enough.

I bought this along with Aleenes tacky glue to help with the construction of book nooks. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. The tacky glue is OK but really only works for wood to wood interfaces - it is a PVA adhesive and this is their area of strength. It gives the appearance of working but once dry, items which are non-absorbent easily pull apart. The Beacon glue is very strong and works really well when gluing for example plastic parts to painted surfaces and particularly if there is a part of the project that needs to be reinforced - once the Beacon glue has set it is very strong indeed. However it does string very badly and that makes it quite difficult to use - you dont want to assemble some intricate pieces and fine strands of glue all over the place, particularly on clear plastic windows for example. So in use you have to develop a means to glue an item with one hand whilst pulling away the string with the other.... and remain vigilant in case a strand has escaped your notice. I use a tiny LED light for close inspection. For my money, the Beacon wins in most situations of model assembly, just dont use it on a part which you might need to ease or dismantle - you are unlikely to be successful once it has set!

Though a bit more expensive it is better than a lot of glues I have tried for craft work. Lasts a long time and easy to use. Will continue buying this brand

this glue is quite pricey but does not make the paper wrinkle - my only issue with it as once you have used half of the bottle it starts to 'ooze' out quite quickly, which wastes an expensive product and yoy also have to squueze quite hard to get it out

Great glue. Tacky so can move pieces into position easily and sets quickly. Clear finish so great for book nooks.

This glue is really brilliant - I have been buying quite a few glues over the past year and none of them work as well as this does. It really does stick and seal without leaving any kind of creasing/ripples on the paper. I also work with kraft cardstock and wooden letters which are quite thick and when using this glue I found it more effective than my hot glue gun. I did have to hold it in place for about 30 seconds and once it was attached there was no movement whatsoever. Also great for attaching labels to my plastic shipping bags which other glues didn't stay sticky to. It also dries clear even on my kraft scrapbooks where I have delicate glueing and there was a bit of residue which I was hoping wouldn't be visible and by the time the glue dried it was barely seen, so very happy and very impressed. I highly recommend it and will definitely be continuing to buy this glue for my craftwork.
