La Rochere Bee FBA_43606701 Large Glass Goblet, 10oz, Pack of 6

These Larochere goblets have a lovely summery look to them, the bees make one think of sunny days, picnics and drinks on a terrace. The glasses are sturdily made, v well made, and despite their good looks are durable. I bung mine in a dishwasher and have recently dropped one downstairs, which the glass survived without a chip or crack. These are moulded glass (there is a visible seam) but don't be put off, they are designed to look like elegant glasses which would be socially acceptable to use at a dinner party. They make a lovely change from all the dull ubiquitous modern 'sleek' ie boring and featureless glasses normally on sale everywhere for everyday household usage. I love these, v pleased I found them, they go with crisp white linen table cloths, embroidered by an ancestress and good silver cutlery but are durable enough to use all the time for fruit juice, water or a decent wine. They will add drama to your table but are perfect, practical glasses which are v good value for money, it's no surprise Larochere has been making glasses for centuries, superb. I want to get some more, the whole range.

We originally bought these glasses in France and brought them back with us to the UK. They are a decent size and are very heavy, which is what I like about them. Unfortunately one of our bee glasses took a tumble in the dishwasher and got chipped so was really pleased to buy them direct from Amazon and not another trip to France! They are lovely glasses, and the bee motif is really unusual and nice. Yes you can see the seem of how the glass was made, but for the price they are excellent quality and nice and heavy. Far superior to the ice thin tumblers you'd find in the supermarket or Ikea. Highly recommended.

Bought this to replace other glasses that arrived and were disappointingly small. I was looking for something a bit different having tired of thin, cylindrical glasses with embossed swirls and stuff on them. These are lovely! Thick and chunky and the bee design around the top is really different. You can see the line of the moulding but the glasses feel solid and I'm not as afraid of dropping one on the floor (others have shattered into a million dagger-like shards which I'm finding months after a deep clean of the kitchen!) They arent the largest however so if you're looking for big glasses maybe go for the beer glasses in the same design. Free delivery and very well packaged. thanks!

Lovely sized tumblers and feel sturdy. Love the bee reliefs around the top. Great to have 6 rather than the usual 4 glasses.

I love these glasses. We use them mainly as water glasses at dinner parties. The size is sensible and they're good and heavy so don't easily knock-over (things get a bit rowdy sometimes). We bought 6 some years back but often needed 8 so I 'pushed the boat out' and bought another 6 (shame this size can't be bought singly). For years I'd hand washed them thinking they'd go cloudy in the dishwasher, then I had the brainwave to put a question about this on Amazon and lo and behold, the answer was already there - they survive fine in the dishwasher. Happy days! So now it's the dishwasher every time and I can confirm theyhaven't gone cloudy like some other glasses do.

These glasses are reassuringly chunky and weighty, making them very suitable for use in the garden although they are pretty and elegant enough to adorn the dinner table as well.Each glass is decorated with four embossed bees around the rim and all of the ones I have seen have visible seams on two sides where the two halves have been joined together, although the extent of visibility varies quite significantly from appearing like a crack in the glass (with an indent big enough to catch a nail in) to a more imperceptible lined ridge. I've looked through a good quantity in a shop that is selling the glasses at a much higher price than the RRP, which rules out seconds, and didn't find any 'perfect' examples.Whilst I would normally consider the moulding issues as a fault, somehow it almost adds a little bit to the charm of the glasses. I certainly find myself reaching for these in the cupboard in preference to others.

I thought I was getting a set of 6 but only received a single one.I'm pretty sure the title ''La Rochère longdrinkglas bij helder 310 ml - 6 glazen - glas als drinkglas waterglas proeverij glas bruikbaar vaatwasmachinebestendig'' says 6 not 1.I feel scammed.
