Expensive, but transforms useabilty and safety of pan

This fits my 15 year old Ikea big pan like a glove. The pan is used in the oven and a protector is essential. Whilst you still need to use a oven glove or cloth, you will not get caught out by a grabbing a red hot piece of steel with bare hands!

Heavy item and I would imagine is good for stopping you burning your hands BUT. I put it on my pan and the pan although it is a heavy stainless steel pan couldn’t stand up with the handle on, just kept toppling over with the weight of the handle.

The media could not be loaded.  I just wanted to demonstrate how this handle is a great fit on a Matfer Bourgeat carbon steel pan. It's a tight fit and I would say is an essential purchase for a smaller Matfer pan (9 1/2") as the steel handle gets very hot; you don't have the same issue with the handle getting hot on the larger pan size (11 7/8").I did trim the length a little for the 9 1/2" pan but this is not essential.Highly recommended.
