Excellent Purchase and Inexpensive Too
Likes:Quality seems very good.Reasonably easy to install.Simple but very effective mobile phone app.Much cheaper than 'big name' smart thermostats.Very helpful email link to manufacturer at '[email protected]' if you have any problemsDislikes:Connecting to Wifi can be very difficult depending on the makes of your mobile phone and your broadband router.Instructions are poorly translated into English and are too small to read in places. Many purchasers seem to have had similar problems as I did when trying to link their BEOK Thermostat to their mobile phone over their home network. I had hours of difficulty doing this but put it down to the combination of an iPhone and BT router. I almost gave up and returned the thermostat but persevered and here is the solution that worked for me.BT Smart Hub 6• Open BT Smart Hub Manager on your PC browser• To do this, type 192.168.1.254 in the browser’s address line and hit Enter• Click ‘Advanced Settings’• Click ‘Wireless’ and enter Admin Password• Note all values before making the following changes• Change ‘Separate Bands’ to ‘ON’• In ‘Wireless’, turn 5GHz to ‘OFF’• Change 2.4GHz ‘Wireless Mode’ to ‘Mode 3’• Click on ‘Save’• Follow device instructions to connect to the Network• Once connected, return all changed values back to what they originally wereBT Home Hub 4• Open BT Home Hub Manager on your PC browser• To do this, type 192.168.1.254 in the browser’s address line and hit Enter• Click ‘Advanced Settings’ and enter Admin Password• Note all values before making the following changes• Click on ‘Wireless’ then ‘5GHz Wireless’• In ‘Wireless network enable’ select ‘No’ then ‘Apply’• Click on ‘2.4GHz Wireless’• Change ‘Wireless interface type’ to ‘802.11 b/g (up to 54 Mb/s)’• Click on ‘Apply’• Follow device instructions to connect to the Network• Once connected, return all changed values back to what they originally wereI hope this will be of help to anyone experiencing the same problem. Once connected, the thermostat and phone app work like a dream.

Works wells, but need to know some things.
Once its installed and setup it works well. I installed on Potterton Gas BoilerTook several attempts to connect to wifi, to the point where I almost gave up and not sure how you turn off the wif on the thermosat once you've set it up.You need at least a 32mm deep box but if you wiring comes from the back you may need a deeper box, something you may want to consider if your surface mounting. Screws supplied to fix to the box aren't UK standard thread, fortunatlely I had some standard screws. If you're changing from a 3 wired thermostat connectted direct to the bioler you either need a new feed with live and neutral or use the existing live a bridge it.From the diagram provided.Live to L then bridge to 5SL to 6Neutral to NIf your not sure check with an electrician.Apps is easy to use once connected, I adjusted the temperature reading in the app as it was reading a little high but this was easy through the app. Overall this is good product for the price.

Works with Oil Boiler that is controlled by actuator valves.
My heating system consisted of an oil boiler and two actuator valves controlled by two wall thermostats for ground floor and 1st floor heating and another actuator controlled by a cylinder stat for the hot water. All this was controlled by a three channel heating programmer that had been mounted in an awkward spot under the kitchen cupboards when the house was built. I wanted to be able to use my phone to control the heating. As an electrician I had fitted some Hive stats for customers which are great for a one zone system but it gets expensive having to by another stat for a second zone.I ordered two Beok BOT-313WHIFI thermostats despite them saying they were only for gas boilers after looking at the installation instructions on line which showed two extra connection terminals marked open and close. After receiving them next day on Amazon Prime, I found the the terminal marked open went to 240 volt when the stat called for heat without any additional links being fitted. Replacing my wall stats was easy as it was three wires off the old stat and three onto the new one Live , Neutral and the switch wire into the "open" terminal. As a temporary measure I set the two heating channels on the existing programmer to ON, so that the new stats would always have power. The old programmer will still control the hot water until I fit a new clock for this in the hot press. Two important things to consider before purchasing are that you need a neutral wire to be at your existing stat and if you are going to connect the Beok to WIFI, the box in the wall should be plastic in order to get good signal strength .Powering up and programming. If you are going to connect the stats to WIFI and use the phone app it's better to do this now, as it is much easier to program the stat using the app rather that directly from the buttons First download the app by going to the app store (the link given for android didn't work) and download the Beok Home app. There are two in the app store but pick the one that doesn't not have EU after it, as it's the older version. I had originally downloaded the EU app which kept giving error messages and then found that in the bottom right hand corner of the app that "Notice" was highlighted, when you pressed it you were prompted to download the non EU app. Next enter you Wifi details into the app making sure that your SSID (name)of your Wifi is typed in correctly as it's case sensitive. Next follow the instructions under 2: Connection Thermostat to phone. After connection just follow the instruction supplied. Remember that there are no On's and Off's only temperature adjustments which takes a bit of getting used to, but works well. There is no Boost feature, you just raise the temperature which brings the heat on. You would hope that in the future app updates this might be added. The stats can be controlled my smart speakers such as Alexa but I haven't tried this out yet.For the money paid you really can't say anything bad about them and I am very pleased with my purchase.

Ne ho 5
Vanno benone!!!!
