Wonderful game that really captures what NES gaming was all about
Cathedral was a pleasant surprise. There's a lot of games which try hard to appear to capture the whole retro experience but fail miserably. This game combines Super Metroid exploration and upgrade/save mechanics with a Zelda II aesthetic and plot. I actually feel like I'm playing a retro game and that's really impressive to me. There's even cameos with characters designed to look like familiar faces. This is a special release and while it's cheaper on Steam, I'm actually having fun playing this on a Super Pocket instead of adding it to the end of my Steam backlog.

Cathedral läuft leider nicht auf dem Blaze Super Pocket
Der Doppelpack aus Alwa's Awakening & Cathedral war die erste Anschaffung für den kleinsten Neuzugang in der Evercade-Familie "Super Pocket". Das nicht alle Spiele funktionieren werden, hatte ich aber bereits gelesen. Mit Alwa's Awakening habe ich aktuell aber viel Spaß, Cathedral muss ich dann wohl auf der Switch oder PS4 spielen. Daher leider 2 Sterne Abzug für alle Besitzer des HyperMegaTech Super Pocket, ansonsten in jedem Fall 5!
