Can this be used while using the hot tub

Sure give it ten minutes with the pump running, then you can use the tub

Do you have to vacuum after adding the clarifier or are the particles small enough to be removed by the filter only? i want a clarifier not a floccula

Hi, Clarifier is a flocculent and would not necessarily need vacuuming after use if the filter system is reasonably good. You could also stir the dead algae after shocking from the bottom into the water to help the filter system remove it.

How much do I need for 18ft pool

I am sorry I cannot answer your question with the information that you have provided. You need to calculate the number of gallons in your pool by multiplying the length X the width X the depth. When you calculate the number of square meters of water that your pool holds you can convert that to gallons or litres then refer to the guide on the outside of your Pool Clarifier to ascertain the correct dosage.

Is 2 litres enough for a 12 foot pool please

Yes 2 Litres is more than enough.
