Calibur11 Gears of War 3 Vault (Xbox 360 S)

Comes in fantastic GOW3 decorated box which opens into a great display item. Contents are well packed and it only took a few minutes to put together. Looks fantastic however cannot say what the effects are like as I am still waiting for GOW3 game and effects only work with GOW3. At this price I am really not bothered as it looks fantastic. My grandkids when they are allowed to visit will love it. At this price definitely buy it - a bargain!

Im not a little kid that just gets excited. Im a middleaged gamer that loves and appreciates some "cool" looking things. Lets just say that this looks better in person that it expect it to and its a great touch to your console. Specially if you have had a 360 ( or more ;) ) for over a few years or since launch day like myself. Slim version and now this makes it feel like something new is on the table. For reals :) The whole lights part I dont get neither I think it actually works though. But since I havent tried myself nor paid attention I wont retract the star from it. When you play you really cant tell if the console is flashing when it should so I eitherway have it on a different mode. Its not something you get for cheap but its a sexy box. Its really up to anyone to justify a price for such product as always.

Good Points: Looks great and worth installing onto your xbox360 just for the look alone. Tech info: Once connected up, using USB connection & plugged into the 3 USB connection only! (See instruction sheets that comes with the kit) Do not have any disc inside the xBox when you first turn on ! With the USB plugged in and connected, turned on the xBox360 IMPORTANT! The USB plug has a very small switch which uses 7 modes when pushed in. Modes: Modes are when you press the switch located on the USB plug to allow you to decided LED's are on or Off or flicking Mode 1 = Turns A RED LED on Mode 2 = Press the switch again for the 2nd time and additional RED LED's come on. Mode 3 = Press the switch again for the 3rd time and all the LED's are on. The above 3 modes allow you to have the xBox 360 lights on all the time. Mode 4 to 6 = Press the same switch a further 3 times. All LEDs will go off during mode 4,5 or 6! In modes 4,5 and 6 are used during playing Gears Of War Mode 7 = This is the OFF switch (nothing will come on with mode 7 ) HOW DOES IT WORK! Yes during modes 4 to 6 i found the LED's sometimes came on during game play and sometimes did not. All i can say is that i found out that the modes 4,5 and 6 work via a frequency sound it is waiting to hear. The speaker is located under the mouth and best worked with the unit very close to my TV, in my case. DO I NEED MY HEAD SET ON : No you do not it has it own built in speaker which it uses to pick up a frequency during modes 4,5 and 6. My own personal improvement: I hope this helps you too as i found the modes very silly. I would have liked to have seen just 3 modes. Off Mode, On Mode and Auto Mode! This would of been more user friendly and even kids could have set it up to use without trouble.

aint what u might think it is have sent my 1 back as a waste of money i would rather have a new xbox then just a case and the box was slightly damiged would tell any 1 to get 1

lights don't work on the case even with gears of war 3 game big disappointment nice looking but expected it to do what it says on the box

Originally I thought I was getting a vault that would connect into the Xbox 360 for Gears of War 3 interaction. Then I find out it only works if I have the speakers on. That doesn't work for me because I always have a EAR FORCE PX5 headset when I play so the emblem does not glow when I'm downed in the game. It only relies on sound from the speakers. If that had been included in the product details I never would have bought this vault. The vault looks ok but all in all it's a very expensive cosmetic upgrade which I do not recommend.

the only reasons I got this were because 1. I like gears of war & 2. it helps tremendously with ventilation and balance ,ventilation because the Xbox just like any computer has airflow inside the case and when it's standing the air flows through better it is also about 1/8 inch off the floor resulting on cooler surface area, and balance because it has the legs so if you bump it you don't break your Xbox this is why one of these could be considered relevant. Also they have multiple different game themed vaults and different color schemes for instance you can buy a plain black vault instead of a game related one. Cons: mine doesn't pulse when I'm bleeding out in gears of war 3 even though on the box it said it would, I wouldn't really count that as a con though because all 6 other light modes work and who wants to be reminded that they suck and there on the ground bleeding out anyway? all in all this was a good buy hope you enjoy yours!

ho acquistato questa cover per xbox 360 slim ad un prezzo ottimo qui su amazon. la spedizione dal venditore e' stata rapida e sicura. la confezione arrivata mostrava gia' prima di aprirla la qualita' che contradistingue il prodotto. il cartone rosso brandizzato gears of war e' davvero un piacere per gli occhi e la sua apertura frontale a libro mostrava in trasparenza il contenuto. materiali fantastici finemente aerografari, piacevoli al tatto entusiasmano da subito.. il montaggio facile ed essenziale trasforma in un attimo la console in un qualcosa di unico e ricercato che fara' l'invidia si tutti coloro che la guarderanno. il collegamento usb da luce al plastico laterale in rilievo che riproduce il logo di gears of war 3, uno switch dedicato permette la variazione di diversi giochi di luce. sono pienamente soddisfatto dell'acquisto e lo consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che sono attratti da esso e vorrebbero delucidazioni per decidere di prenderlo. ;)
