As a woman of color I really appreciate the pigment in number 11. It has a lightweight feel. It's not sticky and it doesn't dry out my lips like other brands that I tried recently and paid much more for. The color is lasting but comes off easily when you was your face. The stick did come loose as referenced by other buyers. That did not deter me. I simply rolled it down as far as it would go and used it. Easy peasy.🤷🏽‍♀️ I guess I could try melting the end and inserting it but I'm fine with it as is. I've got the color and consistency that I want at an excellent price.🥂

This was frustrating because it meant I had to dig it out of the cap and place it back into the holder before I could use it. While I appreciate the color, the inconvenience of having to manage a broken lipstick makes it less appealing for everyday use.Another downside I experienced was that my lips felt quite dry after applying the lipstick. To try and alleviate this, I found that applying Chapstick beforehand helped to keep my lips feeling more comfortable throughout the day. This extra step is worth noting, especially if you have dry lips or prefer a more hydrating formula.In summary, while I adore the color and will definitely keep this lipstick for special occasions, I wouldn't recommend it for daily wear due to the durability issues and the dryness it causes. Pros: Will probably last a long time. Colors are pretty.Cons: It will last a long time because it won’t apply correctly. I really liked the colors and hoped it would work but this was not the case. It was like trying to use a crayon for lip liner/lipstick. I thought the first set was maybe an old batch causing the issue but the second set that I had purchased was the same. I purchased a three pack of various colors and also a six pack and both sets were the same. The liner would not even apply to my lips and I pressed very firmly until the tip broke off but no color transferred to my lip. The lipstick applied slightly better but still didn’t apply smoothly or comfortably by any means. What little did apply was dry and sticky. I know it’s a matte and that is to be somewhat expected but this was above and beyond the norm. It was very uneven and the drag was most uncomfortable. I think I’m going to attempt a return if possible.

The colors are lighter than pictured so if you like a color go up to the next shade. I ordered the lighter ones first and returned for this set. I think this set is closer on the shades I was looking for as the lighter set was too light
