Fits well and good sturdy pipe
Why did you choose this product over others?: Perfect for the job. I needed to replace an old and very degraded pipe system, and this flexi pipe made the job much easier for this old lady. No messing around with different bends, fittings and pipes. It arrived timely with all the rubber seals as was needed to fit instantly and did so with no leaks.

40mm? ... Well, not quite. Not even close!
Manufacturing quality seems reasonable, however it doesn't fit British standard waste pipe system - neither push fit, nor solvent weld (didn't expect the latter, to be fair). The pipe size IS NOT 40mm, it's 41.8mm. That might count as close enough in some parts of the world, but it simply won't work without serious modifications over here. I ended up trimming off, to about 25mm in length, then softening the "40mm" end in boiling water, and forcing a proper PVC 40mm piece into it, so I can fit it to a standard bottle trap outlet for our new vanity unit basin. The other end (which is nearly 43mm!) - removed the nut and again, soften it up, enough to force over the existing 40mm [vertical] pipe. As it was wider than the other side (!) it was a little bit easier. All up and running and no leaks, but I wouldn't buy anything from this manufacturer again.

More versatile than the standard types of waste trap
Working in a very confined space where it was nigh on impossible to fit the usual compression fit traps. This has worked an absolute treat on two installations I've completed. If it blocks, simply undo the coupling between the sink waste and the flexi tube and tip into a bucket.

Sturdy PVC. Great product for small spaces.
Great quality for the price. Comes with O ring. Can leave outlet at 50mm or cut (like I had to) to 40mm
