The Encyclopedia of Demons and Demonology

It is a very beautiful encyclopedia that explains the topic very well. I am an academic and researcher in the occult, paranormal and esoteric doctrines. It is an academic work and that in itself is very good. What I like about Rosemary's encyclopedias (this one and the others) is that after almost the majority of terms you have a "Further reading heading": that states tons of resources (books etc..) to dig deeper into specific concepts. I have read the whole encyclopedia in 3 days ( I took of course a lot of breaks :-)) but it was enjoyable! 5 Stars ! I have also bought both: The encyclopedia of Witches, Witchcraft and Wicca (completely read!), The encyclopedia of Angels (completely read!) - Both amazing! - Any esoteric student/scholar should have these encyclopedias in his/her library.

A second hand copy but near perfect condition. I'm not going to lie this one did freak me out a little bit. The information is very detailed and it's another great book by Rosemary Guiley, but it's definitely not night time reading unless you're planning on not sleeping or having nightmares. Great book and would definitely recommend it to others.

Great read and really interesting if you are into mythology/demonology and satanism or the idea even of categorisation of sins ! There's probably a demon for that! It's also a bit like patron saints and stuff. There's also really nice descriptions of what the demons supposedly look like! I am a bit obsessed with it!

This book is good. I did return it as I was looking for a more photo/drawing book on the different demons with information about them and what they do and any real life encounters. This incorporates mythology and film and TV but it is a good book. I returned it and it was done quickly and efficiently. If this has more drawings and old biblical photos and less about film it would be perfect!

Just ordered this yesterday and it's already been delivered today - even on a Sunday! Nice big book, interesting facts and articles written and even has pictures. A must for all people who are interested in the paranormal

Interesting book. All of the information is listed in encyclopedia format and the book also contains some pictures. Great book.
