Very informative and easy to understand for beginners. I’ve since got all the other workbooks from this publisher. I highly recommend.

This book covers the basics in an easy to understand format and serves as an excellent revision tool. The exercises reinforce one's learning and it is particularly useful being able to download the audio, both to hear the language and for some of the exercises. It might appear aimed at young people, by the drawings particularly, but as an adult (old) person I find it very useful and entertaining - and challenging, this is not an easy course.

helps with listening comprehension, as well with reading comprehension of the Russian language. yes, it does have answer sheets at the back of the book.

We all know that Russian is not going to be the easiest language to acquire from English. A well laid out structure and clear instructions help. Audio files to assist are also available. The book builds on a proven ( for me ) track record. One of the most important tips I was given is to read the whole sentence. Don't try to cherry pick the words you know. Russian will trip you up. Read a chapter, let it marinade in your brain and then read again. Slow and steady wins this race. Download the audio files and listen whilst doing the ironing or walking the dog. Listen again and again whilst reading the section in the book. Спасибо.....

Trying to learn Russian, not popular I know but spoken by many in my country and a fascinating language. Learning with an app and this is of great aid, correct and beatifully organized

Any book purporting to introduce Russian for absolute beginners must - MUST - start with an overview of the alphabet and the sounds of letters. This so-called "beginners" book makes the basic assumption that the reader is already familiar with the Russian alphabet. Consequently it is useless for an absolute beginner.

I am an absolute beginner in the study of the Russian language, and I absolutely love Lingo Mastery’s “Russian Made Easy Level 1.” I have been learning the Russian alphabet from Lingo Mastery’s “Russian Alphabet Made Easy,” and this book is an excellent follow-on. Before continuing with another Lingo Mastery book for the Russian language, I did preview other language books, but I found that although they claimed to be beginning Russian language books, they were more conducive to students who already had some Russian language experience. I even tried a language app, but I found the app disappointing, because I was not retaining what I learned. Given my success in learning the Russian alphabet through Lingo Mastery and after previewing “Russian Made Easy Level 1,” I decided to try the book. I am extremely pleased with my choice. While Russian is not an easy language to learn, and one must work hard to learn it, I do not feel overwhelmed by this book. I genuinely enjoy studying a language at my own pace. The book offers vocabulary words with translations that are practical in everyday conversation, and the words are grouped in specific topics, such as family, daily activities, traveling, describing things, and buying things. I think the vocabulary topics are excellent, and the lists are useful for making vocabulary cards. The book introduces some very basic grammar and provides written exercises to practice what you have learned. I especially like the written exercises, because I have been studying the Russian alphabet and like the opportunities to apply what I have learned. The book provides a link to audio files that are easily accessible. If you want to learn Russian but are hesitant, I highly recommend the books from Lingo Mastery!

Another excellent book from Lingo Mastery for beginners learning the Russian language. The book is very well structured and has plently of examples and exercises that help reinforce the vocabulary and the introduced grammar points. The book has some nice illustrations, and online audio files are available to help with the Russian pronunciation.

I started learning Russia 6 months ago, by my self and with the help of many books. But this book has something special….it makes hard parts of grammar come naturally. I am using 3 different books, but everytime I get stuck this booked helped me enormously. The Alphabet book is also awesome, so I am looking forward learning more Russian with these guys. Thank you

Ajuda bastante no aprendizado do manuscrito de letras nunca vistas previamente!

L’ho iniziato una settimana fa. Apprezzo molto che parta dicendo alcuni modi di dire comuni, come “come va la vita” o altre piccole frasi e parole che si usano nel quotidiano. È impaginato bene e gli spazi grandi sono coli per scriverci dentro. Non ho ancora avuto modo di sentire gli audio, ma direi che per un imparare gli audio sono fondamentali quindi è sicuramente un punto in più.
