I have trouble swallowing large pills. These are on the small side and easy to swallow. These do not have a bunch of useless fillers. This is a quality supplement.

I'm very happy with these NOW brand Omega-3 fish oil mini-gel caps.I've wanted to take fish-oil based Omega-3 capsules for many yearsnow, but have never purchased or tried any until I discovered theseNOW mini-gels. I always knew that I'd never be able to swallow theginormous size capsules that I've seen in the stores whenever Ichecked out the other fish oil products. I don't know how long theseNOW brand mini-gels have been available, but I'm so glad I found them.They are EASY to SWALLOW and that's a wonderful thing for many of uswho would never attempt taking the huge fish oil capsules that havetraditionally been available. These ones don't have quite as muchOmega-3 as the giant size ones, and the serving size of these is twocapsules for a total of 600 mg Omega-3 (360 mg EPA and 240 mg DHA).But that's perfectly fine with me, as I'm so happy they're easy toswallow. I've been taking two of them daily, but recently ordered afew more bottles so I can begin taking three of these daily, whichwill provide a total of 900 mg Omega-3. Based on what I've read, it'sgenerally recommended to take 1,000 mg. daily; but 900 mg will beperfectly fine for me. The price of these is pretty reasonable so itwouldn't break the bank to take four if I wanted to :)Another thing that's important to me is the softgel itself (i.e. thecapsule that holds or contains the supplement) must be Halal, Kosher,vegetarian or vegan. Some of the other brands state "gelatin" in theinactive ingredient list without naming the source of the gelatin(which can be anything: pork/porcine; cow/bovine; or fish and whoknows what else if they don't identify the source specifically). So Ioffer a big Thank You to the people at the NOW company for beingsensitive to that issue and showing some respect and regard for thoseof us who care about what the capsule, gel-cap or softgel is madefrom.I'm very happy with the product and highly recommend it if you'relooking for a good source of small, easy to swallow Omega-3 gel caps.And a reliable company with a solid reputation like NOW.

Perfect size for those that have an issue swallowing larger pills

So far so good. I like that these are smaller capsules. I feel like I just need a maintenance dose as I was taking larger dose capsules for years leading up to this. I had a weird reaction one day, discussed it with my holistic practitioner, and believe it may just be me reaching my limit on what I needed via supplementation. I just take 1 for maintenance.

There is no fishy taste nor smell. They are pretty big to swallow, but they are not dry and chalky so they go down regardless. Here’s why I know these work for me… as weird as some may think this is…. I bruise easily when I take these and if I take them with my blood pressure medicine it drops my blood pressure like a rock. Look it up. I read it on a legit medical site about supplement interactions with medications. This should not be taken at the same time you take your blood pressure medicine according to this site. Don’t take my word for it please. Ask your doctor or look it up. This is just what happened when I combined the two. Since I’m in frontline healthcare, I figured this information might help somebody because it’s likely many may be taking omega 3 as a preventative for cardiac related issues.Personally, I have no doubt these are potent. I will continue buying this brand. I’m on bottle number 2. Omega 3s properly balanced with the correct amount of EPA and DHA are little power packs. These have the balance I looked for for my purposes.

I love that these supplements are small and easy to swallow. I keep them in the freezer so they go down and stay down without any burps. Every member of my family has to take Omega's including the dog so I am very happy to have found a high quality product at a reasonable price. No smell or upset stomach and they seem to have just the right ingredients to make a positive impact on everyone's health needs.

I've been buying another brand but my doctor recommended these because they have anchovies and sardines which is much better than the other brand I was using.These are easy to swallow.
