Grateful for this product. Buy it.
It works. I experience debilitating canker sores due to an autoimmune condition, and this time it was near the back of my mouth, almost my throat. I managed to eat a very small amount of food, but anytime food touched that side while going down, it hurt so so much. So, I cleaned my mouth, dabbed it dry and pressed one of these on. Listen, it feels like there is something there while it flattens out, yes. But the pain is gone INSTANTLY, and for that I am SO grateful and glad I bought these. But them- you won’t be disappointed. Tastes like toothpaste. Great value for the money considering the pain I’ve been in. Functional. Very easy to apply. And should last for hours based on other reviews. And if not I’ll happily reapply. I can see it lasting all night (I am using during the day right now, so we’ll see).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Instant Relief and Fast Healing – A Lifesaver for Canker Sores!
These canker covers are a total game-changer if you suffer from painful mouth ulcers. As soon as I applied one, the burning stopped almost instantly. It sticks to the sore and forms a protective gel-like barrier that not only blocks irritation from food and drink, but also helps speed up healing. The cover stayed in place for several hours—even through talking and drinking. It dissolves gradually, so there’s no need to remove it, and I noticed my sore felt significantly better by the next day. What I love:✅ Immediate pain relief and soothing comfort✅ Protects the sore from further irritation✅ Speeds up healing noticeably✅ Easy to apply and mess-free✅ Great for those who get frequent canker soresWhat to note:⚠️ You need a dry surface for it to stick well—blot the sore first⚠️ It can feel a little bulky at first, but you get used to it quickly⚠️ Slight medicinal taste, but nothing unbearableIf you deal with canker sores even occasionally, these are 100% worth keeping on hand. They take the sting out of eating, drinking, and talking, and actually help heal the sore faster. A must-have for your medicine cabinet!

I tried it out of desperation
I gave this item a try out of desperation. Those of us afflicted with canker sores, especially in odd locations inside the mouth, know the unrelenting suffering that comes with a flare up. After reading all the reviews about this item and having nothing left in the house except a salt and water rinse option, I decided to try ONE tablet, just to see if it would help.It was really difficult to affix to the sore - the tablet is bulky and the sore was not in a flat location. Just as I got the pill stuck to the sore, it kind of also stuck to my finger (yes I followed the instructions about how to apply) and pulled slightly away from the sore which caused a lot of pain. The tablet sat in the spot for about 35 minutes then it started to gel and congeal. It didn't feel so bad at that point, just kind of bulky. I sensed the slight menthol taste but it wasn't overwhelming. About two hours later it had expanded significantly and became a giant-sized slime blob. It eventually started to stick to a few nearby teeth. That wasn't the problem so much as once it started to stick elsewhere it tugged away from where it was supposed to be so there was kind of a ripping feeling away from the sore and of course more pain. It's a very difficult thing to manipulate and if you attempt to, be prepared with tissues and swabs and lots of uncontrollable drooling.Like another reviewer, I attempted to "trim" the outer parameter of the blob and gently used a toothpick on the outside area of the sore. Unfortunately, what remained of the sticky blob just kept expanding in its place. I decided to just leave it be and let it run its course as it seemed way too risky to remove it. In the end, it didn't contribute to healing the sore but it did cover it up for a few hours.I have yet to find a good OTC product that works to alleviate the pain, as well as the canker sore itself. Most, like this, are very expensive and yield mixed results at best.

Pain free but still has problems | Update: It worked
I have a huge sore behind my top lip—this thing has hung around longer than my dad.I’ve tried everything to get rid of it and ease the pain so I can eat fruit gummies but numbing only last so long and drinking is awful. The cost is outrageous for what you get, but it did apply easy. I stuck it right on and it stayed(it did burn for several seconds but that died down). Be careful not to touch it with your lips because I almost sealed my bottom lip to my top lip, this thing STICKS.I’ve had it on for roughly an hour—and it has dissolved somewhat, but not nearly close to what it claims. The box said 30 minutes and it’ll dissolve to a thin, clear film, right now it’s like a gelatinous puck. While that is slightly annoying, it has helped with the pain. I can talk without being in immense pain, I can lick my lips again HALLELUJAH! I use a straw to drink(sorry turtles), and am only eating foods I can stick in the back of my mouth (jello, fruit snacks, turkey sticks, mac and cheese, etc.) While I wish there wasn’t this mushy hockey puck stuck to my lip, I will take it over the pain.Update: so I had it on for 3 hours and it still didn’t dissolve fully. I had to peel the gunk off with my hands because it started sticking to my teeth and lips. Gross and ow. But it did leave the clear film over the sore so yay? Overnight the film also balled up into gelatinous gunk that I had to peel off. Overall I got roughly 3-4 hours without pain.Update 2: I used it again the next night, same deal. Didn’t dissolve, peeled off gunk before bed. This time I don’t think the film stayed on. It kind of slid to the side which is annoying but I was still pain free while I had it on. Just used some numbing Orajel before going to bed.I’ve noticed that these are actually healing this sore. I’ve tried the Colgate sore rinse, orajel, even my husband made ‘Magic mouthwash’(he works in a pharmacy). Nothing worked. These patches seem to actually be healing the sore relatively quickly THANK GOD! Worth it to me right now, but I would probably only spend the money if I had a bad sore that just won’t go away. If you have small sores in hard to reach areas, just rinse it. Dont use these.
