Rexel General Purpose Metal Tacker - Metallic Silver

This staple tacker is very good, it feel solid and heavy in your hand. I use it every day in a busy classroom. mainly for backing paper/card to walls.It uses 3 types of staples(handy if you run out of one type)

This is a good quality stapler which performs its job well. It feels sturdy and as though it will last a long time. The safety catch is a good idea as it allows you to store the staple with the handle clamped down, preventing accidental staple discharges. The only thing you have to be aware of is that this stapler takes what seem to be quite rare or difficult to get hold of staple sizes. I couldn't find them in my local shops and ordered online. The sizes it takes are 23/6, 23/8 or 23/10. Overall it is a good quality piece of kit and I would recommend it.

This has brokenNot even one half term into school and it now jams every other time I use it and crushes staples so they are sharp and dangerous.I have tried the button to return but my window has closed so it is now useless to meIt hasn't even had heavy useI am hugely disappointed as I expected better from a brand like this.Update: Amazon returned and sent me a new one- photos attached show the result at the attempt of one display. The pile of staples is how many it took me to hang one price of a4 paper. The staple gun breaks the length of staples, then these get jammed causing them to break and be pretty dangerous.Second staplegun is now being returnedDisappointed.

Haven't use this properly yet but the trial I did seems great. This Rexel tacker feels sturdy and gives a sense of quality. I like it so far.

This is my second stapler, the first one lasted a number of years, so when that started firing two staples at once I ordered another one, same make and model. My second one has lasted less than a year and I am now in the process of trying to find another, more reliable staple gun.

As staple guns go, this is pretty normal, nothing fancy and it has a safety catch. It does not come with any staples, which to me seems a bit odd. Most staple guns come with a small pack of staples and to be honest at this price, they should include a few staples to get you going.Lucky for me, I have a several staple sets and I have am older version, so I put the 23/10 staples and gave a little whizz, seem fine and staples with impact, which is what you want. I guess the staples will make a difference. I've read the reviews that it jams, I can only guess it was a faulty gun. If you use it around a school or office environment then you will find out the longevity of this tacker.Taken two stars off as I feel it is dear for what it is and to not have staples is a bit cheeky.

Arrived very quickly, super service. Also good to use in class and staples are easy to extract afterwards when taking display down. Sometimes some guns staple too hard and its tricky to remove the staples.
