I've tried all different kinds of pen-shaped erasers. Some of them disintegrate right away, some are too big, some are too skinny, some come out of the front of the pen-holder either too much or too little and it's hard to control them.This Staedtler Stick eraser is just right. A solid eraser for long-life. Just the right medium-size. Easy to put out just the right amount and keep it firm.

My husband does a lot of charting/design work and these erasers are his go to. He goes through one pretty fast however doing what he does. He loves the fact they don't smear and are perfect to hold, which outweighs the negative that they dwindle down pretty fast. He had been getting them at Michael's for around $10 for just one in the holder. We hadn't realized there were replaceable erasers for it until I went shopping here and found these and also just the refills you can buy separately. A much cheaper option.

The stationary pocket clip makes this eraser better than its competitors. The box of refills may be a several years supply for me. I use it with my mechanical pencil for layout of woodworking projects.

Staedtler erasers are great and this is just another entry living up to the name. These are the 528 55 erasers. The slider securely locks into place, but doesn't have a loud clicking like a lot of other sliders. It's light and comfortable to hold. As a right handed person none the clip doesn't get in the way of holding it.Included is a picture for scale compared to the Technico 780, and also how the item came packaged. No complaints about packaging.For the price paid, this is a bargain. Very pleased.

easy to use and good quality

I have been using this product for years, and will continue to use it for its convenience. It does, however, tend to be smudged and should be cleaned by rubbing it on a plain sheet occasionally.

I use Moleskine sketchbooks a lot, and these are my go-to for erasing errant pencil marks. I tend to use around a 4B pencil, and these erasers erase everything nearly completely. I've loved them for years. Highly recommended.

I use a pencil eraser as its easier to grip onto, im happy it comes with refills because my other ones dont :(, one thing that is kinda sad about this one is how the eraser pushes back into the case sometimes,
