Good for the hard of hearing
I bought these because my ear canals are collapsing and my hearing is increasingly poor. This makes listening to music or the radio less than pleasant. Whilst I can use conventional headphones the volume has to be turned up to maximum and it's not very comfortable to wear headphones for a long time. These headphones are easy to use, comfortable to wear and straightforward to set up (do read the instructions). I wear spectacles and there is no difficulty in wearing both, or taking one off without dislodging the other. I would not say you don't know you're wearing them, but they are not at all intrusive, being very light and not bulky. As for sound quality, obviously the bass reproduction is not outstanding, but that is a function of transducer size and it is physically impossible to get resounding bass from such a small device - there is a reason bass speakers are so large.I had previously found when listening to music I know (I like classical and baroque music) on speakers or headphones that I can no longer pick up some of the subtler nuances of the performance, but because I know the composition I can mentally compensate for this. However, with these headphones many (but not all) of those nuances are once again audible, which greatly increases my pleasure in listening and means I can get more enjoyment and understanding listening to a new (to me) piece of music.I do not watch television so I cannot comment on any lag between audio and video. I do listen to the radio, however. For both speech and music these headphones help considerably. At the time of this review, I must listen to Radio 3 and 4 via the BBC Sounds app on my phone because my radio, like almost all radios, does not transmit Bluetooth. A BT adapter for 3.5mm audio jack sockets is on order from Amazon and will hopefully enable the headphones to connect directly to the radio.I have not thus far had occasion to use the microphone in the headset and so use it for voice calls so I cannot speak to its quality, nor do I have the slightest intention of wearing them when walking or cycling so I don't know how well suited they are to this.Clearly something is lost in bone conduction compared to transmission through air, and just as clearly tiny speakers cannot possibly convey the full audio spectrum, but within these limits I must say this is a very good headphone set and it has greatly improved my enjoyment of radio and recorded music. If your hearing inboard of the eardrum is good but your ear canals are blocked or collapsing, you may well find these headphones a great help and at this price I have no hesitation in recommending you try them.

Great quality, far better than price point
This is my first bone conduction headset and I started at the low-mid price point incase I didn't like.Well, have not been disappointed at all! They are more comfortable and secure than conventional ear pieces, and the sound quality is really very good. A lot more bass than expected, way more than "in ear" products. You can listen to loud music, but the thing that got me most - you can hear MORE of the music. Perhaps it is just me, middle aged and a bit deaf, but these have increased my enjoyment of familiar music by quite a lot. I am now listening to my back catalogue and hearing things I had missed.Battery life is excellent so far, the product is easy to use and links up fast.I would very much recommend this product, and might buy a set as a present for my wife.

You get what you pay for - additionally don't emotionally blackmail customers?
I purchased these having tried a friend's Shokz headphones and been impressed with the bone conductive technology. I didn't want to shell out a hundred quid on headphones, so these seemed a good compromise. The battery life is excellent, they are easy to setup and connect, they are lightweight. They are also absolutely useless in anything other than an absolutely silent environment, they bleed noise like a tinny boombox, the contact pads are incredibly uncomfortable for extended wear (to the point they leave marks in front of your ears), the sound quality is abysmal.I returned these, did some overtime and splashed out for the Shokz OpenRun Pro. I highly recommend you do the same, these are a waste of plastic and wire.update: I received a pretend handwritten note on children's stationary, asking kindly for a better review because they "have tried to contact you many, many times" (which they had not). This was alongside two pairs of the same headphones I returned. I appreciate the superficial display of generosity of sending me two unwanted pairs of headphones I gave a poor review to, but if you want a better review then provide a better product. The shallow attempt at guilt tripping customers providing honest reviews of products is gross.

2nd time success
This is a revised review. The first set i puchased only lasted 25 minutes before failing and I returned them and got a full refund.Unexpectedly a couple of weeks later the company sent me a complimentary new set along with a letter of apology. This was a nice touch.Glad to say the second set have now lasted a few long runs without issue. They are a comfortable fit and not too heavy. Instructions and clear and set up easy.Sound wise they are pretty reasonable. I tend to play podcasts when running so cannot comment on musical performance.Overall if you are looking for bone conduction headphones and dont want to pay the premium for market leaders, or need a second set for the car gym bag then these may be just what you want.

Decent sound
Never had bone conducting headphones before but needed some for road running. Currently using them whilst walking dog in the evening (so I can be aware of my surroundings and hear what is going on)Sound quality is decent, plays music at a good volume, it can tickle a bit when the bass kicks in. Sound is clear and doesn't shut out the hearing channel. Comfortable and secure feel on head, don't bounce around. If you lie down the rear headband can cause them to move.Easy to set up and good connection.Decent quality at a decent price. Worth a punt.
